You will need adapters
So ... a regulator like this attaches to a hose with a female connector and to a compressor which has a male connector. So it makes perfect sense for the regulator that sits between these two devices to have two male connectors. NOT! My Badger 180 compressor has a 1/4" NPT male outlet, but this regulator has BSP threads so I couldn't directly attach the regulator to the compressor (by omitting the provided inlet fitting). There isn't enough clearance at the compressor outlet for the regulator to fit directly on the compressor anyway even if the threads were compatible. I needed to find the correct adapter to fit the compressor on one side and fit the threads of the regulator on the other (Pysrych 2pcs 1/4" NPT Male to 1/4" BSPP Female Adapter Brass Pipe Fitting). Then I needed another adapter to connect my 1/4" female BSP Iwata airbrush hose to the regulator (Master Airbrush Brand 1/4" BSP Male to 1/4" BSP Male Fitting Conversion Adapter Nipple, Connector for Airbrush Hoses and Compressors). Figuring the adapters out took 7 days of ordering, waiting, reordering, waiting some more ... really, it shouldn't be this hard to set up a basic airbrush and compressor. Why not provide the link to compatible adapters for different compressors ... there are basically 4 options 1/4" NPT, 1/4" BSP, 1/8" NPT and maybe 1/8" BSP? Or just sell them, or bump the price up a few dollars and include them? I include a homemade adapter selection chart that may help you out. I have no connection or recommendation to the suggested products, this is what I found searching Amazon. Now that it is finally installed, it works correctly. At first I didn't think it worked. You have to really turn the knob A LOT to dial the pressure down on a 30 psi compressor, like you think you are going to completely unscrew it from the housing. Eventually the pressure will come down. Once you find the sweet spot, the pressure can be set very precisely. Small turns then make big changes to the pressure. I never lock the knob down. As I change paints I want to be able to quickly adjust the pressure as required. I have not noticed any drift by not locking the knob.Moisture trap works fine, just push up on the little spring button while the compressor is running and any collected moisture blows out (don't try and unscrew it as I've seen some people attempt in other product reviews). I blow this out at the beginning of a session before I put any paint in the cup. Just my routine. The regulator does what it is supposed to do. I don't think you will find "better" products out there. There was a lot of frustration getting this set up and I spent as much on adapters as I did on the product itself, hence my rating. I would have had the same experience with competing products, and I do recommend the PointZero Pro. It would be nice if there was a standard that made airbrushing simpler and interchangeable but vendors seem content on supporting a cottage industry of providers of adapters while torturing their customers.

Works great! Had a piece of pea gravel inside for a fun effect!
This regulator worked perfectly for my airbrush after I put quick connect adapters on it (one male, one female) and removed the random piece of gravel that was inside preventing the rubber diaphragm from sealing. I assume it was there to act like a pea in a referee’s whistle, which would have been a blast and not annoying at all to hear constantly when it was being used, but mine was just a little too oblong to fit appropriately. Sigh. Still, 10/10 product that was super easy to assemble and disassemble multiple times to get working appropriately. If anything, the learning experience of pulling out gravel was a great feature. Would definitely consider buying again!

It's ok I guess
U get what you pay for. Not the most durable thing in the world but it will do.

Shipped with the hardware to make it easily compatable
The product was very easy to install and performs with good accuracy. I use it on a badger compressor and it suits my needs quite well.

Needs Good Instructions
Works perfectly after I figured it out. When I finally found all the fittings I would need to get my compressor going, it didn't seem to be regulating anything. Out of the box, it was set to "wide open" and the adjustment wouldn't turn. After tinkering with it, discovered the adjusting knob must be grasped firmly and pulled upward until you feel it click. Now it is unlocked and can be adjusted. Adjusting is kinda counterintuitive. To decrease pressure, turn the knob counterclockwise. It will take more turns than you would expect (I discovered this in a fit of anger). Since it takes so many turns, you can make fine adjustments. Once you have the pressure you want, firmly press down on the adjusting knob until the "click" is felt and it is now locked.Invest in a Winters brand, inch and a half, 0-30 psi air pressure guage (can be ordered online from HomeDepot) and you're all set.In spite of all of the above, I love this thing!! After removal of the mounting bracket (that most people will not use) It is even attractive!PS: Don't forget teflon tape.

Doesn't regulate air pressure....like at all
Purchased this regulator for a small airbrush compressor as the stock compressor did not have anyway to adjust the air pressure. Installing this unit should have been pretty straight forward but even with plumbers tape there was still a major air leak coming from the regulator entry point. Then to top it all of it doesn't regulate the air pressure at all, doesn't matter if it's opened all the way up the air pressure doesn't go above the original pressure the compressor stores without the regulator installed. Basically useless.

Great for the money.
The one and only complaint I have is that the air gage faces the wrong direction for my application. I need the air lines coming from my right side. The gauge is turned backwards and can't be seen from that position. It can't be loosened without letting air leak out and it can't be tightened any more than it already is. If you have it set on the left side, this won't be a problem for you at all. Other than that one thing, this does exactly what it should. Gives me a consistent air pressure with no drop off or peaks. Good product for the money and no leaks.

contains fittings to power airbrush with shop compressor
The regulator has a pair of 1/4 npt female openings (the thread may be the same as 1/4 bsp). The kit also has a pair of 1/4 npt to 1/8 bsp double male fittings. I was able to use one of the 1/8 bsp fittings to attach my airbrush. I left the second double male adapter on the desk and screwed in a 1/4 npt quick disconnect fitting. My current configuration:1 gallon shop air compressor, with regulator set to 30psiair quick connectair hose kit with 15 foot curly line to cool air and condense some moistureair quick connectair quick connect male to 1/4 npt malethe regulator on sale here...included adapter 1/4 to 1/8 bspair hose to airbrushairbrushair leaked until I reassembled it with teflon tape.
