This is my second Velowave Range step through. This new 2.0 version is well reengineered with some great improvements. The area the rear wheel attaches to on the frame has been reinforced and beefed up. The handle bars also have new bracing attached. The hand grips are absolutely a vast improvement, so much more comfortable and you have better control over the bike. I do not know if any other improvements we made ,if they were they are not visible to me. The bike is very solid, ride is very comfortable you feel in total control of this bike. The bike ships 80% complete all you have to do is attach the front wheel and handle bars and plug in the wire connectors which are all color coded. The pedals also just screw in and attach simply. You show be able to fully assemble it in a little over an hour.Battery life is great I can get over 40 miles and still have 30% in reserve. Speeds up to 28mph and very easy to more through the power assist 1-5 and the throttle is great getting started if you are in traffic or need to accelerate quickly. With throttle alone you can ride for some time at 20mph if needed. I had the occasion to contact customer service on issues not related to this particular bike. Even though no one answers the phone they will immediately return to you a text. They seem to prefer text and e-mail as contact.I can not say enough good things about customer service, top notch, very responsive and will work to resolve any issue you may have.Love the bike, a very sweet ride. I am 71 years old and this bike is perfect for me. I live in southern Utah and my city has over 70 miles of paved bike trails. For off roading the possibilities are endless between off road trails and open high desert vistas, red rock trails everywhere.For the price this bike competes on an even plane with many well known name brands at a much higher price point. You can not go wrong with Velowave, I am very satisfied with the product and their customer service.03/02/2024UPDATE; everything working perfectly I have a little over 100 miles on the bike and absolutely no issues. I am impressed with how solid this bike rides and feels. No rattles what so ever and very smooth riding. I did change out the tires with a less aggressive tread as I ride mostly on pavement. The tires are much quieter and suit my preferred riding as they are a street tread. Overall very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

I don't usually write reviews, but this bike is so good!First off, this thing's pretty sleek and well put together. The paint job on this is incredible.I've ridden quite a few bikes in my time and this was super comfortable and fast. And the step-thru feature is a nice. It does make it easy to get in and out of you know!Overall this is simply a great bike. Solid battery life, smooth gear changes, it's just a pleasure to ride. I'd totally recommend this E-bike if you're in the market for one!

Best bang for your buck. All Around very well built bike, my only issues are the battery as well as how much resistance there is when not using the throttle or pedal assist. I have put about 200 miles on the bike and have had no issues. I maybe get 30 miles out of a full charge!

I purchased this as a gift for my wife, but the entire family has enjoyed it. The battery life is great and it's very comfortable (and fast) to ride. My only complaint is that the charger port is placed in a poor location and is hard to get the cord into. If there was one thing I would re-design on this bike, it would be that. Charger port aside, I would purchase this bike again.

This is a beast of a bike! Very well balanced and made. Lots of value for the money. Had to contact customer service and they responded quickly and took care of our issue very professionally. So happy we decided to go with Velowave.

We live in a hilly area and my new e-bike gives me the ability to get help getting up the hills. The bike is surprisingly peppy, so much that I don’t have to use over a 3 assist. The thumb throttle is awesome for quick, short term assist. The step through design is much easier to get on and off of. Assembly was not a problem, went very fast with two people. Bike is well packaged. I highly recommend this bike!

I like everything about the bike it is absolutely awesome.

I sold my mountain bike style for this style e-bike. It’s comfortable, has great torque and plenty fast. Assembly was fairly simple. Love the 26” fat tires. Wasn’t expecting the throttle to be on the left. That’s different but ok. It has a customizable LCD screen that gives all the info you need, speed, battery percentage etc. I’m also impressed with the hydraulic brakes. Speaking of the brakes, my one complaint is somehow during assembly or shipping my front brake disc got warped causing unwanted friction and drag. This is my third e-bike I’ve assembled and am well familiar with how flimsy discs are and am always careful during unboxing. This would become a five star review if this could be remedied.
