Easy to use and sleep with them in. Nice curl.
Pleased with these curlers. So easy to use and I got a nice curl. Just dampened my hair and curled. I am pleased. They are comfortable to sleep in as well.

Nice product, curls baby-fine hair
These curlers are nice quality. Inside each curler is a soft little pillow then two wires on the ends so that the curlers stay closed when you fold them over. The satin on the outside keeps them from getting tangled in your hair. They also come in a plastic cylinder container with a screw-top lid that is nice for storage. I have baby-fine hair that is above my shoulders. I like to add a little bit of curl to my hair to give it some movement but I'm not that handy with a curling iron and don't typically have time to curl my hair before work. So I bought these in hopes that I could add a little oomph to my hair-- I really don't want a full-on beauty pageant curl, just some texture and movement. I accomplished this with these curlers, as you see in the photo. Here's how I did it: After showering and washing my hair, I applied root volumizing spray and a little bit of mousse. I blow dried my hair until it was just slightly damp. I used only 9 curlers. Instead of placing the curler at the bottom of my hair and rolling upward, I placed the curler near my scalp and wound my hair around the curler. After 8 hours of sleep, I removed the curlers and let my hair relax while drinking coffee, getting dressed, etc. I then combed my hair with a wide-tooth comb and sprayed with dry texturizing hairspray. Complications: One of the curlers on the back of my head fell out while I was sleeping. I had to curl that part with a curling wand. I part my hair in the middle, so I like the hair that frames my face to look the same on both sides. I wasn't able to accomplish this with the curlers; they turned out looking quite different so I also had to touch these parts up with a curling wand. I'm guessing this is something that may improve with time and practice at rolling each curler uniformly. Lastly, I didn't find the curlers all that comfortable to sleep in. Not terrible, but they are noticeable. Next time I use them, I'm going to make sure I fold over the wire ends as flat against my head as possible to see if this improves the comfort. Overall, these are a very reasonably priced item for what you get and I'm glad I purchased them.Editing to add: I've used these curlers maybe maybe 5 or 6 times now and have been happy with the results each time. But I've already had to throw 3 of them away because one of the wires (that you bend over to hold the curler in place) pulled out of the curler.

Curl is the Truth; Sleep is a Lie
I originally got these to sleep in as I read several reviews that said they were very comfortable and easy to sleep in.I did not have a similiar experience. I wet my hair slightly and brushed through it with a brush then sectioned it off and rolled it in the different rollers. I have very fine hair but I have a ton of it and its especially long since the Pandemic. I used the method of holding the curler half way up my hair and twisting the hair around the curler then tucking in the end and rolling it up (under) the rest of the way. I found the twist tie part a little hard to work with on some of them. I had to use two hands for sure. I also figured out that some of them would flop down a bit due to the way I rolled them. I expect that the more I do it the better I will get at it.After I did my entire head I decided to go to bed. I have a temperpedic pillow and I sleep mostly on one side or the other. I gave it my best shot but at around 3am I bolted up in bed and in a sleepless frenzy I ripped out all the curlers! They are softer than normal curlers but they still have a hard center when rolled and fastened that just pressed to hard against my head for me to sleep comfortably. Maybe others are deeper sleepers than I am but I did not find them comfortable enough to sleep.I will say that the curl was nice since even after leaving it in for only 4 hours and then sleeping on the curls themselves after taking out the curlers the picture is what the curls looked like when I woke up. Obviously again one side waved and the other curled so I have to figure out the technique but I am very happy with the curls. I will use these during the day when I am home but they will have to come out before bed.I may experiment with using 2 or 3 and just putting them on the very top of my head at night when I go to bed as I have been just twisting my hair up into a bun and using a scrunchy to try and save as much curl as I could over night. This might be a good option instead. Overall it's a nice curl but sleeping is a lie! :)

Wash them first TWICE!
I like the fabric texture and black with dots pattern. I didn't notice any odor with the rollers, but found out after an overnight use, that they and my hair then had a very strong petroleum odor. So bad I had to wash my hair and then machine washed twice (delicate cycle) with strong perfumed detergent and laundry beads to overcome the smell of the rollers. I air dried them. The rollers come in a cute container, but tightly squished, requiring time for the foam to decompress. I recommend storing them in some other container to reduce compression for future use. The wire is heavily coated with flexible plastic. One roller had poor stitching exposing the wire. The rollers aren't super comfy if sleeping with them, but doable. Still experimenting with the rollers, but if you want to eliminate or reduce hot appliances on your hair, this is a good product. I bought the 30 pack since I have long hair, but easily could have gotten by with half that many.
