Mr. Darcy's Refuge: A Pride & Prejudice Variation

Very well written and edited. Story too very good. Great canvassing of characters we all know and love. Enjoyed this a lot, and I got it for free although I would happily have paid good money for this

I stayed up the whole night reading this book. It’s not often that I find a P&P variation that I loved reading that much. I am so bored the reading the same books that differ only slightly from the canon. This book differed quite a bit in my opinion and that’s what I liked so much. The ending was wonderful. I do enjoy reading about intimacy between married couples. If done in a tasteful way, as this author did, it can enhance and show the depth of love they have for each other.

Really enjoyed the family politics...their relationships with each other...had a great laugh and found hard to stop reading...touched my heart...well done

Une variation de P&P avec un ton moderne, vif, amusant ... comme tous les Abigail Reynolds d'ailleurs ...Celui ci est un de mes 3 préférés.Tous les personnages sont là, leurs personnalités respectés, dans un registre plus intime que chez J. Austen.Certains sous développés dans P&P (Cl Fitzwilliam) prennent plus de corps ...Lizzy et Darcy sont intelligents, têtus ... faits l'un pour l'autre ... Jane trouve le bonheur ...Tout sonne juste ... Je l'ai lu et relu ...
