Amazing purchase
My child is very hard on their feet but these insoles are a life saver

So far so good.
More durable than original soles, they are a little wide for child size 3 requiring a little more cutting on edge of heel. My sons say they feel “bouncy”.

Gel Near the Ball of the Foot Can be Painful, but Better than Original Insoles
They appear much larger than the size indicated, but there are marks on the back showing where to cut for different sizes. It appears this is only for the length, however, and not the width. It is also difficult (nigh impossible) to read the numbers near the trim lines, making it difficult to discern where to make the cut. The 0 and 5 can be seen fairly clearly to indicate full size and half size, but the whole numbers cannot be read.I found it easiest to remove the old insole and hold it up to the new insole to estimate size. It appeared the cut lines at the top were very close to the shape of the insole. The sides and the heel were much larger, but they still fit in the shoe acceptably. My daughter likes the insoles much better than her old ones, but she finds the bump near the ball of the foot uncomfortable and sometimes painful. After wearing the insoles in for a few days, she still complains (when asked) about the hard, gel portion of the insoles near the ball of the foot, saying that this part of both insoles hurt her feet. However, she likes the insoles more than her old insoles that came with the shoes and would not switch back if given the choice. Based on this, and her own rating of 3-to-4 stars (saying 3 is OK), I would recommend these insoles cautiously. They are better than the insoles that come with some pairs of shoes, but they can be painful, especially for those with sensory issues or injuries. For those with such issues, I would recommend looking one that does not have the hard gel at the ball of the foot so as to avoid triggering this effect.

Good for small women's feet
I got the 2.5-3 "little kids" insoles. I wear a women's 5.5 most often (+/- a half size), and these are *very* close to being the perfect size, so if you wear a women's 4.5, 5, or 5.5, I would say these would work for you. I was happy about this, as it is really hard to find foot-related items that fit a true 5-6. (Socks size 5-9? Give me a break.) I find these comfortable; there may be better out there, but I really have nothing to compare them to just yet. I put them in an inexpensive "furry" boot that is basically flat and hard on the bottom inside (because, again, inexpensive). They did make the boots more comfortable, and I will try them in a boot that is even more uncomfortable to see how they do. I did have a lot of trouble getting the first one into the bottom of the boot, all the way to the toe, due to them being rubberized and wanting to fold up over and over again. These boots are knee-high, though, and have no zipper, so it was hard to get my arm into the bottom period. The second one was strangely easy to get in, however. I can't say how these would fit kids' shoes, but for my little-lady purposes, they work well.
