I had ordered a couple of different 12" shorts from Bayleaf and while they were very comfortable I noticed they pilled quickly...and I mean quickly making them seem old way before their time. So I decided to try these as they came in the color Navy and made from a different blend of fabric. The 12" length is very important to me as they are not too short and not to long. I got my first order and immediately tried them on. Wow, they look nice and felt great. But of course I had to wait to see if the pilling would start within two times of wearing them. It didn't. These shorts are well made, have great pockets, look extremely nice on, wash well and are very comfy. I now own 5 pairs. Thank you Bayleaf! Oh, one more thing I think this helps others to know that I purchased an XL and weight 181 lbs.

I have 3 pair of these now. I love the length. I love the side pockets. I feel super comfortable in them. I bought large. I'm around 170 and 5'6". They are a bit more expensive than I would normal spend but I like them enough to spend it. I wash in cold and usually air dry. My previous pairs have accidentally gone through the dryer a couple times and they are fine. I wear them mainly for exercise but have on occasion worn them out and around.

PROS: Pleasantly surprised at the quality of these shorts! They are not the usual knit-type legging material that's too thin and stretchy, but rather a dry-fit type fabric that's super lightweight, completely NOT see-thru, but still has some stretch to them. Just pull 'em up and forget 'em- no rolling down, no wedgies. I bought both the Navy and the charcoal. This 12" mid-knee length is the most flattering for me.CONS: I first bought one pair in my usual size, 2X, which fit just right, but after washing in cold water/tumble dry low, they did shrink enough to be visibly tight on my thighs. So I next tried a 3x which was loose all over. After laundering the 3x the same way, the thighs fit just right but the crotch area was baggy looking, which I'll just hide under tunics. So I went ahead and ordered 2 more Navy plus 2 Charcoal in 2x but I just hung then to dry.Note: Since these don't fit like leggings, they are not form fitting at the knee, there is a gap. Also, someone with thinner legs may have different size/laundering results than I did.

It kills me when i read reviews when people describe how they fit, what size they get yet don’t write their ht / wt down. So, Let me first start off with my Ht / Wt so you have an idea. I 5’5” and My wt is currently 195 lb (post baby weight) so yes i do still have that little post baby tummy bulge. And when when i tell you i am a pear shape i mean my waste (currently) is 35” and my hips are about 48”, with a booty (not complaining). I bought XL.I don’t know about others and their body shape, but let me tell you these shorts are made for people with a pear shape body and a booty!! They hug in all the right places, tuck in my tummy very well and made of a beautiful fabric that isn’t too thick yet thick enough to hold everything in and not show any cellulite or imperfections. Very happy with the purchase!!!

Finally found the perfect shorts. I am past the age for wearing shorts, and capris are too long (I am 5’3”.). These fall right at my knee, which is perfect. They are comfortable, lightweight, actually fit at my waist, and are great for exercising. I will be buying more in other colors.

I absolutely love these! The fabric is so nice and exactly what I was wanting. The fit snug like leggings but are not tight around the lower thigh and knee area. The shape there is great and for me they are the perfect length as well! I will be wording another color soon!

These are stretchy and comfortable and the length provides good coverage, falling to the top of the knee on me (I’m 5’8.5”). The fabric is a nice weight; not sheer at all and not too thick. The pockets are generous and hold my phone without it falling out. I was surprised at how wide the legs are and they slide up when you sit down. I’m keeping them because they are comfortable and I like the length, but I did alter them to make the legs straighter.

Got these for summer. Perfect length on my 6’1” frame.the navy goes with everything. Sitting is comfortable the crotch doesn’t ride up when standing up! I love the Baleaf brand for my bicycle riding gear, and general clothing.

Beau bermuda, bien fait et tissus très confortable. La jambe droite (tel que montré par le manequin) avantage la silhouette contrairement aux autres trop moulants. Exactement ce que je cherchais.
