Mind Blowing and Mind Opening
Without giving too much away, this short and powerful novella explores the lengths some people will go to ensure their own survival and what, if anything, those who can prepare owe those who didn’t or couldn’t. The dry, almost clinical writing style allows the dread and the lessons to creepy up on you slowly. Very worth a read.

Confusing
When i read the description/summary of the book i thought what an interesting story. However upon reading it i found the language to be complicated both the style of writing and the words that were used. There was not much dialogue at all and it was a hard read with a not so clear ending.

Vivid imagery - if you enjoyed Leave the World
This is a short read. I read it in a couple of hours and was really taken by the world. Some wealthy folks pay to be taken care of at a resort after a nuclear holocaust. But none of us can really say even when we have all the money in the world, that money can buy your safety. This reminded me a lot of the recent Netflix film 'Leave the World Behind' with some of the same thoughts and questions coming to mind about what could happen if the world faced this kind of disaster.

Short book that really makes you think.
Book written in the 60’s when nuclear bombs were much discussed. Still relatable.
