(BE CAREFUL, NOT ALL HAVE SPEAKERS!) 4K pixel density without the performance requirements
everything about this monitor is amazing, probably one of the best 1440p monitors out there, especially on a tighter budget, the 23.8'' screen size makes the pixel density near that of a larger 4K monitor (by a fair margin though, not exactly the same as 4k.) without sacrificing the performance you'd need for 4K resolution. it doesnt have a 2.1 hdmi cable but the display port 1.4 lets you use its 165hz refresh rate, so thats nice. fully height adjustable as advertised, even movable and tiltable, love it. Please note that only *some* of the models from AOC have built in speakers, this one (the Q24G2A) and a few others do but Iโve heard that the other ones do not, read the fine print!

Great monitor good for playing games
๐ขIn total this is a very solid monitor this is great screen with a nice picture quality, I play Warhammer, Hell divers and Mabel rivels (I just got to platinum) all on high settings and this monitor dose not disappoint ๐ดI would also recommend getting a monitor arm because the monitor stand is quite big and covers alot of the table maybe just me this is not in anyway gonna compete with oled quality but for price to performance this is AMAZING.

Great 24โ 1440p option for gaming and productivity
Overall a very good niche offering. Used as a secondary display for both working and gaming. Set at 125% windows scaling, it is similar sizing to 1080p although much sharper. -Very smooth and responsive with low input lag. 24โ at 1440 is noticeably cleaner and more crisp than 27โ. Ideal for small desks and colour accuracy is good too. -The stand takes up too much space as it protrudes at the back. As itโs not a wide gamut display, the monitor only covers the standard srgb colour spectrum so media can look a little undersaturated compared to modern screens. No dedicated toggle/switch control for the osd, instead you have to manually select and interact with each button. Itโs very clunky and tedious.

Great combination of size, resolution and refresh rate
I've been using a pair of 1080p Dell 23" monitors for about 10 years. The setup has worked really well for my use case of software development. However, experiencing higher resolution panels and higher refresh rate panels made me interested to upgrade. I got two of these AOC 24" QHD 165hz panels. Not a common combination for sure. But I've been able to set them up nicely with pin sharp text, a comfortable size and higher refresh rate on both Mac and Ubuntu. Obviously for my use case, the 165hz refresh rate isn't that important. But it certainly feels nice when things scroll or move around. I was slightly concerned the red strip at the bottom would look too much, but I barely see it, and it's actually quite nice. I'd never heard of AOC before, but am really placed with the quality. These were available on a 7-10 day lead time from Amazon when I first checked. But they popped up with 3 in stock available next day. I'm using a thunderbolt 4 dock and usb-c to displayport 1.4 cables. On Mac I did need to use the BetterDisplay app and had to explicitly enable smooth scaling. On Ubuntu I needed to enable "Large Text" to make things a comfortable size. 165hz on both no problem.

Very nice 24 inch 1440p monitor
Only just taken delivery of this but first impressions are very good, 1440p looks really crisp at 24 inches. The picture quality and colour balance seem excellent right out of the box, with nice deep blacks (for an IPS screen), good contrast and natural looking colours. The combination of 166hz refresh rate and 2K resolution has made a huge difference to gaming. Build quality also seems fine, the monitor is fairly weighty for it's size and doesn't feel cheap in any way. It's rare to find a 2K monitor in this size and at this price and I'd strongly recommend this one, it's exceeded my expectations so far.

So far so good for it's price but some tuning needed after using it.
For it's price it's well built, such as the stand and adjusting screen height, and I'm glad 1440p monitors exist in this size. Others are too big for my needs. No dreaded dead pixel yet. Most importantly the picture is great *once all the settings are tuned*. Crisp colour and brightness afterwards. Recommendations: Go into windows display and increase the Hz. By default it doesn't always select the highest one. Next is to go into the monitor settings, select "picture boost", and put frame size to maximum. This seems to make the image more accurate and not covered in mild fog. Select Gamma 2 in Luminance. DCR might not help, leave it off. Other default settings seem fine too (unless you want to go further into calibration but I cba for my use case). There are a few websites telling you how to get the best out of a AOC monitor as out of the box/from factory it might not be 100% set up. Now... Windows does not detect HDR, but I will not yet fault the monitor because it could be an issue with my mini displayport to hdmi adapter, will investigate in the upcoming days and update the review. Cons: The manufacturer is cutting corners and now it has one hdmi instead of two, the picture quality is great so far so will not let this cause a return as I don't need two for my needs but they should update the listing. Edit: My mistake, it does not advertise HDR. Not that it matters for most games and Windows apps as most don't support it. So keeping the 5 stars not 4. It has a fake built in HDR with some presets that are worthless. Don't bother to enable, after tinkering with the settings. Edit 2: Switched from my old DP to HDMI cable adapter to a high quality DP to DP cable and got the full 165Hz and not 144Hz I was capped to before. Also nvidia app now recognises the g-sync. Very nice.

An incredible monitor for 1440p gaming
After using an AOC 1080p 24" monitor for years (a brilliant monitor in its own right FYI), I decided I wanted to get into 1440p gaming due to having a major PC upgrade. I originally tried a different model 1440p 27" and unfortunately it was too big for my liking so I ended up selling it. After some research into 24" monitors with 1440p capabilities, I was recommended this monitor and I have to say I have fallen in love with it. The picture it provides is incredible and the response times are brilliant. The 165hz refresh rate compared to my old 60hz is a night-and-day difference. This monitor is worth every penny, especially for the price.

Would Recommend For 165Hz gaming
Had this monitor for over a year now, still working just as well as it did from day #1. Decent picture quality for decent value, it won't beat an OLED but it isn't OLED price.
