Schwalbe 2x Lugano 700c x 25 Road Racing Bike Tyres - Red

Absolute bargain bought for my road bike, for the price these tyres a brilliant, road bike really holding the road.

These tyres arrived sooner than expected from Baldwins, neatly coiled in a stout box. I have used Vittoria tyres in various guises (eg Randeonneur Cross, Land Cruiser) and have always found them excellent in all respects. These Lugano 2 tyres are no exception except that when fully inflated, the 25mm measurement across the tread at its widest was just 23.4mm. Not a problem to me as I’m going to be running my vintage 531 frame on them in dry weather in the summer, but I would advise that if you’re looking for a 28mm or upwards, then buy the next advertised size up. Grip and rolling no probes in the dry but haven’t ridden them in the wet so can’t comment.

The tyres fitted without the use of levers which is a great comfort to me if I get a puncture on a ride. They do have puncture protection but I am not expecting much from this however. The ride is good at 100PSI...so far pleased. Not sure how grippy they are in the wet being semi slick. The compound is quite soft so they might be ok.

These are good tyres. I've just done 15 miles on them and they roll well, whilst maintaining a good level of grip.My only gripe is that they're really difficult to seat well. The front one went fine after 2 attempts, but the rear one is still a little wobbly / bulgy by the valve. I've tried all manner of usual ways to correct this, but to no avail. My next plan is to get a different inner tube.Otherwise, really pleased. Excellent value and a decent tyre for the price.

Great tyres and are my go to when I need some moreI do around 5000 miles a year on , at time, rough country lanes and find a set of these lasts me the full 12 monhts.Are great for puncture resistance and I have found a puncture now is a real rarity rather than a once a month (at least!) nightmare.Found them great for handling as well even in the wet with heavy emergency braking

Easy to fit but one tyre looks a bit wonky on the wheel now. Admittedly, I did hit a deep pothole and that would not have helped so not blaming that on the tyre specifically.

Arrived early and looked good. Put one on my rear wheel - only inflated to 80psi as a precaution - took out for first ride when the side of the tyre blew out! Thank goodness only short distance from home. Would return but dispensed with the "suitcase sized box" they came in!

I don’t really know what “sheerness” is but top marks anyway - I love these tyres & am on my second set. Great customer service too - there was an issue with one of them which I as was resolved quickly & without quibble.

El montaje es fácil y se le ve una buena relación calidad precio, pero las he instalado esta semana y todavía no he salido a probarlas.

Metto 4 stelle solo perché arrivati in ritardo. Per il resto posso dire che il copertone si presenta bello come da foto, facile da montare e in strada ha una buona tenuta. Non ho fatto molti km per poter valutare completamente il prodotto , comunque per ora promette bene. E comunque va sempre valutato per la fascia di valore che appartiene. Come amatore direi per ora tutto ok. Se nel tempo succedesse qualcosa mi prometto di modificare questa recensione.

I replaced my old Schwalbe Lugano tires after 4,500kms of riding - during that time I had only puncture - the K-Guard lining seems to work very well - the red tire trim looks fantastic on my black bike
