Best Quilting/Sewing Iron I've Ever Had
This iron is awesome! Things I love about it-No pesky cord dragging across my project/fabric.Heats up quickly. It gets/stays hot enough to remove wrinkles from cotton. The steam function works fabulously. It's easy to remove and fill/empty the water chamber. It's okay to fill with tap water as long as you don't have hard water. It's lightweight and easy to carry.I love that both ends are pointed so it's easy to get into tight spots. This particular model stays on for 30 minutes before the auto-off function kicks in. (The other model turns off after 10 minutes.)The handle on the carrying case makes it easy to pack for retreat or take to class.

Great iron
It is so handy not to have the cord. It works well on my patchwork. It is small enough to travel well and big enough to do a good job.

Perfect for quilting. I love the no hassle cord.
Works well and is easy to use. Not too heavy. I wish I had bought sooner. Having a no hassle with a cord is so nice.

fantastic iron!
Love that there is no cord to worry about. Iron is shaped perfectly for open seams, Steam doesn't burn my fingers which are holding seams open.Like that it remains on for about 30 minutes.Only down side is the iron has a small opening in the holders it must go into that slot each time I'm through with a seam.

UPDATED - November 2024
I recently started a longarm quilting and design business and I sew and use my iron daily. My old one died in a rather spectacular fashion so I was looking for something quilters recommended. This one had a lot of independent reviews of working quilters so I thought I'd try it out. So far I love the stainless steel plate (no more ceramic for me) and the cordless feature is nice as well. Eventually, I may look into a more commercial-type ironing system (separate steam container) but this works well for piecing and prepping for the longarm and I could see it being nice to take on a retreat. Definitely can recommend to anyone who sews/quilts and irons regularly.UPDATE: still like the cordless feature but the steam/water doesn’t really work and it doesn’t seem to get hot enough to do a very good job. It might be nice to take for travel but I think I’m going to go with a better steam iron for my everyday use in the studio.

Light weight and easy to use!
Because of arthritis in my wrist my current iron was just too heavy to use comfortably. This little steam iron solved my problem! LOTS of steam, very light weight, perfect for my quilting projects. Well worth the money and highly recommend!

Works very well
I love this iron for ironing seams and such when I’m making articles of clothing. It heats up quickly and does a good job. The steam feature is impressive. I wouldn’t recommend it for a lot of continuous ironing because you’ll need to keep putting it into the cradle to reheat, but for sewing, ironing, sewing, ironing, it’s great. I hate struggling with cords when I’m trying to maneuver my iron around seams in sleeves, necklines and hems, so this iron is great for that. I am not a quilter so I can’t speak to how it works for that.
