Delicious treat
I love the mango and pineapple, not fan of the other kind that was in the package.

Delicious
Everything was amazing, though tamarind is an acquired taste.

Too sweet for me
:/ much sweeter than I thought they'd be. Can't taste much of the fruit flavor for being so saccharine.

Not worth buying
I shouldn’t have bought them, they looked too good to be true. Very sweet, not spicy and acidic how typical Mexican candy should taste. For the price definitely not worth it. Not sure if these are meant for kids or (no offense) to just American people. Don’t buy it if you’re looking for Mexican candy.

Delicious! Be Careful Of The SEEDS In Tamarind
All three of the Mexican Fruit Candy have a great sweet, spicy, and salty taste. The three candies (actually dehydrated fruit) are Pineapple, Mango, and Tamarind. Each piece is covered with the red paprika like chili seasoning, which is what gives these treats the unique flavor of being salty and spicy (not too hot) that mixes well with the dried fruit. Each comes in its own resealable package. Be careful when biting into the Tamarind one because unlike the Tamarind type candies that just have the pulp, these are the whole pods, so they look like jalapenos. The edible part is soft, but the seeds are still in there and they vary in size but are as big as a child's tooth. The seeds are very hard and when you eat the pulp off it, these seeds have a smooth glass like finish and are dark brown in color. If you bite into the seed, you might break or crack a tooth. Strangely, when you feel these seeds in your mouth, you'd swear you broke off a tooth but it's the seed. Those seeds could also be an issue for small kids who might choke on them (they might not be that big but you never know). The only drawback is the price.

The candies are just okay.
I was under the impression that since it is a small business, the quality of the candy would be exceptional. Well I was wrong. The mango one is super sweet as it was coated with a lot of sugar and not enough acidic or spice to balance out. The pineapple was the same as the mango. The thing is the fruit itself is already sweet and then it is coated with sugar on top. I think if the coating has more seasoning other sugar, that would work better. The tamarind was decent because the fruit itself was a little sour so it balance all the flavor out. But even then I find the tamarind a little too sweet and I have a huge sweet tooth. Overall, I wouldn’t buy this pack of candies again. The taste were average and nothing to write home about.

Sweet but not hot!
It was fairly good. Taste was sweet and tangy, expensive for 3 pkts in one. I liked the mango and tamarind but not the pineapple. It looks red but it is not hot and the sugar content is high..meh! It is good snack..

Buenísimos!
These are the most original-tasting tamarindo and chilitos I've found in the U.S. They taste very, very natural, not fake or plastic like many other tamarind candies here.I enjoy that it comes with the seeds, just like the real tamarindos back in México. And the mango and piñas are very fruity, and the powdered chili is delicious.I have bought several times, and as soon as I notice I'm low in stock, I order again, so I always have these in my pantry. I always get the combo of three (tamarind, mango, and pineapple) because I like the variety. Yes, buy them!
