Not as tightly woven as presented. Smelt funky. An extra layer may do the trick of privacy we were looking for, but not really wanting to spend the extra $$ on it.

Love! Provides ambience and privacy!
Love this product--provides ambience and privacy! Transforms our deck into a tropical oasis while also providing privacy. Great price (researched well, of course, before buying)! One challenge--this has a bit of a smell initially, especially when wet; for this reason, I would suggest that it definitely be used outside if you are sensitive like myself and my family. Many great uses for this product! I would greatly appreciate it if you would please mark this review as helpful. Thank you! :-)

I would purchase again.
The packaged arrived on provided date. The packaging inside, as well as out, protected the fencing. It did have a slight odor when I first took it out of the box and unwrapped it, but it wasn't as overpowering as others stated in their reviews. While I still smell it, the odor is not worth any complaints and I am very sensitive to smells. I bought two and there is about a foot on each side of the balcony that you can somewhat see through, but it works for my purpuse. I was able to use the wiring from the top part of the panels that I cut off, to secure the fencing to the railing three times (top, middle and bottom vertically) every foot for both panels. I had to use pruning shears to cut them. I also used painters tape to keep the tops from falling 4 floors. I was able to reuse these ends by gluing them around a glass vase filled with sand and a candle, as added decoration on the balcony to tie everything together.

Reed fencing doesn't come close to this ...
No fencing like this will provide 100 percent privacy ... you can see through the willow sticks -- more so if you stretch the fencing out to its full length. If you don't mind installing it shorter than the advertised length, you get more privacy.Aside from that, this fencing is excellent quality. Cheap reed fencing doesn't come close. Whereas that stuff is literally like grass straw, willow fencing is actual wooden sticks from a willow plant. It's pretty sturdy and smells nice and has a great color. Easy to trim to size and easy to attach.

Nowhere near what I received the first time.
We wanted to order these willow screens/fences for privacy and to cover an ugly chicken wire fence dividing our backyard with our neighbor's yard. I ordered a single screen at first just to test the quality and fit. I liked what I saw, so a week later I ordered 15 additional screens. The larger batch (of 15 willow screens) that was sent to me was not of the same quality WHATSOEVER. All of the willow twigs are shredding at the top due to being trimmed with a dull saw blade and the twigs themselves are all much thinner and seem brittle. I'm pretty disappointed based on what the first screen looked like and may decide to return them. Such a bummer!

Adds nice, natural look to yard and offers privacy
I really love this privacy fence! I only bought one at first in case it wasn't easy to put up, but it was very simple! Now that I know that, am going to order more. Hate to admit it, but I am weak, but even for me it was easy. The twig fence was light enough to carry, and it took me no time at all to attach it to my chain link fence. My dog likes to climb my chain link fence, so this will definitely help. Plus it looks so much nicer than the chain link.

Natural screen.
I bought one to try and ended up buying two more. It looks very natural, provides a dense screen while still letting in some peek-a-boo views beyond the fence. It is well-constructed (I actually have it hanging on some horizontal rails) and in several months it hasn't sagged or buckled, even after 2 ice-storms, snow, and a significant wind storm. If I had the right growing conditions I'd try to grow a willow fence, but this is much easier, quicker, and affordable.
