Superb item
There are plenty of cheap remote shutters out there, but if you are working int he field then a professional one offers a bit more than just a bluetooth button. For a start, this has a 100m range. Now I haven't put that to the test but I have tested across the length of my garden (probably about 25 ft) and I even stood at the front of he house to add a few more feet and it worked fine. To be honest though, I'm more likely to use this without the receiver and simply plug the transmitter directly into the camera which also works.I couldn't tell you how long batteries last but I've given this a good play and my rechargeable AAs still had plenty of power left so I don't think that excessive battery consumption will be an issue. If you need a professional remote shutter for a Canon camera then I would highly recommend this, it works brilliantly and Godox is a brand I trust, I have used their lights and modifiers quite a lot and never had any issues with them.

Great wireless release for Canon Cameras; complete with 80s segmented lcd display
There are lots of camera remote trigger releases out there; and they all work broadly in the same way. The best thing about the Godox TR Series Wireless Shutter Release Kit for Canon is how good it feels in your hand. The pack comes in 4 parts: two cables one 3 pin for pro style cameras and one ttl style cable for the prosumer models. There are then two devices that need AA batteries (not included.) One is a receiver that you can use to relay from the transmitter. Both the receiver and transmitter can plug into your camera with one of the cables. The transmitter is what won me over; it still has the 80s cold blue backlit segmented LCD display and resulting clunky interface; but the compact design and heft from the 2 aa batteries makes it feel nicer to use. The batteries also seem to last a long time; left my eos r doing a timelapse for 24 hours and it will still be going when I came back. You can use it as a remote trigger pressing the large yellow surrounded button; or you can program a timed bulb release, a delay time to release, automatic intervalometer or timed intervalometer for timelapse shoots. These are easy enough to setup using the d pad and use the triangle and square start stop buttons to control it. Its 2023 as I write this though and surely, it’s time for something a bit better than a 4-way d-pad; like programming the receiver and leaving it running the timelapse rather than two devices working together. The receiver isn’t as nicely finished; it was easy to secure to my camera on the hot shoe. It too has a small LCD display; and you can rotate the connection channel if you are having issues. It worked fine with my Eos R and R5 (which tested both cables.) The release worked just fine from about 10m. I can’t think of a time I might need a 100m release; maybe if you want a remote release for a second camera that would work for you. It’s a shame Godox don’t include a carry case to protect the screens. My complaints are common to most all wireless releases. The Good TR is a well made easy to use intervalometer; it worked with my cameras and did its job well be it remote release to remove shake, timed release or timed shot. Its just time for a technology update.

Good Quality Wireless Shutter Release
This Wireless Shutter Release (Model No. TR-C1) arrives in a nice looking, Godox branded, cardboard box, that would be more than suitable should you be wishing to give it as a gift. It is designed to be compatible with Canon cameras which have either the E3 or N3 socket.Inside the box are the transmitter, receiver, C1 Shutter Cable (for E3), C3 Shuttler Cable (for n3), and a User Manual. Both units use 2 x AA batteries each (4 in total), but none are included in the box so you will need to provide your own. Both the transmitter and receiver units feel well made and have a good finish throughout. The plastic used is a reasonable quality and the unit feels quite robust. The controls are well defined, so are easy to distinguish, and they are nice and responsive in use.Using 2.4GHz wireless transmission means the shutter release can be used up to 100m away from the camera. Whilst I haven’t tested it to that extreme, I have been using it at about 30m without any issues. Another feature that sets it apart from cheaper shutter releases is the fact that you can set it to one of 32 different channels, which helps when working in areas that might have signal interference. The video in the description does a far better job of going through and demonstrating all the different options available on the Remote Shutter, than I could describe in words, so I will not repeat the information here. I will just say that in use the various options all worked well and as expected, and proved to be very useful.I like the fact that you can connect the transmitter directly to the camera via the cable to use it without needing the wireless receiver, however I would have liked an extension cable included, so that I could do this whilst sat a little further away from the camera than this short cable allows. In conclusion this is a well made wireless shutter release for compatible Canon cameras. Beyond being a simple shutter release, it has has plenty of useful intervalometer and timer features that work well and open up a number of new ways to get creative with your photography. There are cheaper options on the market, but I think the extra build quality, distance of transmission and the ability to select a specific channel to use, justifies the higher price tag in this case~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product and asked that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. That’s what I’ve set out to do in this review, so I hope you found it helpful. ~

Godox wireless remote for camera
Once I figured out the small remote needed a cord to the camera they worked perfectly. Wireless remote was a little miss leading.

Mamma Godox una garanzia come sempre! Eccezionale 😍😍
Puo’ tornare utile in diverse situazioni.
