48 glow sticks for under $20. Certain colors are not bright. Red, orange and pink struggle to put odd light. Green, blue, yellow are fine. Best of all, my kids love them while camping and they don't shine them in my eyes like a flashlight. Last at least 4-6 hours with decent brightness, but some lasted until morning 10-12 hours... although dim. If you want 2-4 hours of fun for kids at night, this is one of the best $20 you'll spend.

I bought these specifically because the picture used displayed traditional glow sticks - not glow straws. A glow stick is what you've seen in movies or on TV to light up a dark pit, mark a path, etc. They are about the thickness of your ring finger, sometimes has a hook at the top to hang it from something, make a noticeable cracking sound to mix the chemicals, etc. What I received are glow straws. These are the bendable variety you can connect together that emit far less light. The picture used was intentionally used to deceive the buyer. Product is likely fine and will work, but not what I ordered.

Sticks not bright enough and definitely don't last 12 hrs as they state

My kids love glowsticks and we usually get the typical long thin ones that you can make into bracelets or necklaces. I was hoping these would be a bit brighter or last a little longer but I'd say they're about the same brightness and last around the same amount of time. So far we're about halfway through the box and only had one dud.

These addes a lot of color to our late afternoon graduation party. Even during dusk, the bright colors shone. They are easy to use--shake, crack, shake.We usually take a few camping to use as nightlights in our camper.

My family has a thing for glow sticks. I've got younger kids and they just really like playing with them so when we saw this set for a good price and a good amount, we couldnt resist. The glow sticks are good, lasting as long as any other brand does. Also they come with some string so you can swing them around apparently, but if you dont have young kids maybe you'd use the string to tie them up and hang them off stuff.

Great glow sticks that are bright and work as described. I’m not sure if they last for as long as they say they do my kids still enjoyed them. Because they are small but thicker than m kids are used to, they needed help cracking them
