It is a lovely writing instrument.
As you would expect and want, it is a lovely pen. It writes smoothly and feels good in the hand. One thing I have found is that the "fine" point that is stated on the cartridge actually writes more like a "medium" point. There are alternate sources for true" fine point" refill cartridges that are acceptable.

My waterman runs out of ink rather rapidly
My only complaint about these refills is that they are short lived. I don't know why. I have had this beautiful Waterman pen for many years, but I have never found a source for the refills that last more than 2 months.Bonnie Montana

Dry disappointed. Took over 3 weeks to get shipped from UK. Roller ball is not smooth, not a consistent flow for a brand new refill. It looks like it it’s running out.
