Damaged is flawless perfection
I stayed up until midnight waiting for my pre-order to appear. I was a tiny bit disappointed when I noticed it was relatively short, but as soon as I started reading all disappointment fled. I do think the page count above may be an error or an overestimate. The location count on my kindle was approximately 2000, compared to 3300 for Damaged 1.Sidney and Peter broke my heart in the first few pages and I was instantly drawn in. I came to care about these two so much in the first book, I was thrilled to immerse myself in more of their story. We picked up right where book 1 left off, with no real gap in time at all. But Peter immediately reveals a secret that freaks Sidney out, and that sets the tone for the first part of the book. There were times when I thought Sidney was being an idiot, and making stupid mistakes, but I think that adds depth to her, because people aren't perfect.Peter is so much more twisted and haunted than I thought, but for both of them this book is a chance at healing. Peter is such a swoon-worthy character, and that has definitely not changed between the books. I was able to see how different he was now that his secret was out, and I think that helped me related to how Sidney was feeling with trying to accept the truth.I had worried a little bit that I might be lost or confused because I haven't read The Arrangement series at all, but I wasn't. I've read the description of The Arrangement so I know which characters crossed over, and there were no problems with meeting those characters for the first time. I didn't feel lost at all. I didn't like Sean very much, and I wonder if that would be different if I'd read the other series, but I did like Avery. I do get the impression that Sean means well, and his part in the end made my draw completely drop.I loved that we got the end of the story, without a cliffhanger, and I thought the end was very rewarding.I laughed and cried then laughed some more. Between the turkey and the coffee and their banter, it was just an all around delight. I really didn't expect it to be so darn funny, but it was. I constantly laughed at the things they were saying to each other. I think because it is dealing with Sidney's dark past, I expected it to be very emotional, and while parts definitely were, the humor helped keep this one lighter than Damaged 1.The content was sexy but not explicit, and I think this book is perfect for anyone who likes romance of any heat level. In conclusion, if you liked book 1, I highly suspect you will like book 2. It was a rewarding read, and my only complaint is the length. But I am not even too disappointed by that because the pacing was perfect. I'd rather an enjoyable short read than a long read that drags and bores me. I would not recommend reading this book until after you've read Damaged, because I think you would lose a lot of the context without the first part of their story.

great story
Overall this is a great story just some of the parts don’t seem to connect the right way and made me a little confused. Didn’t affect the main plot.

Really good book with some HYSTERICAL parts
I really loved Damaged and couldn't wait to find out where Sidney and Peter's story was going to lead. I enjoyed this book but Sidney grated my nerves more than she did in the first book. We start with Sidney and Peter where we left off. Peter is in love with Sidney but she isn't sure what to do about him. Her mother is sick and she is going to go back to New Jersey to say goodbye.Peter reveals a large part of his past, which set Sidney into a tailspin. She has a very hard time accepting the fact that he is not who he said he was, and she feels lied to. Throughout a very large part of the book Sidney is very insecure, which she was in book one and with good reason, but there are times I just wanted to shake her and tell her to get over it. Yes, Peter isn't who he said he was but good grief he never did anything to hurt her, he protected her against her moron of a brother and Dean the rapist. I think this is where I just didn't understand her constant grating on it.Ok, so the road trip starts and Peter again saves Sidney. He decides she has no say and that he is going to accompany her because she is incapable of saving herself. I am a little bit in love with Peter as I was in the first book. I mean a hot, commanding, knight in shining armor, and smart...what's not to love???? He has his own pain that he is trying to work through, and Sidney's rejection hurts him deeply, he laid it all out for her and she turned her back on him. There are many parts in the book I was literally Laughing-Out-Loud! I swear I was going to pee myself during the road trip with the animal!!!!Peter and Sidney have a lot of healing and demons to extract and I felt they did a good amount of that throughout the book. I wish that Sidney had been able to just hear Peter and not act as though he was an axe murderer. However, I will say that she completely redeemed herself once we hit about 70% in the book and I was very proud of her. She finally stopped being the victim and it was great to see her grow as a woman. I feel that the story ended well and hopefully through the rest of the brothers we still get bits and pieces of Peter & Sidney. I think H.M. Ward did a good job setting up the interest into the rest of the brothers as well. I know I am definitely a little smitten with Jonathan, and Sean is such an @ss I would read about him too just to see what in the world is wrong with him!

Okay
Like Damaged I, the book was just okay. Although, It is a page turner, the ending was over too quickly.

I would have liked a bit more "romance" - however
I would have liked a bit more "romance" - however, it was the comedy (the vulture) in this book which I really enjoyed. I do love a good "happy ever after" which this did have, but the happy ever after ending seemed very rushed. It took all book to get to that part, and then it was over very quickly. I am looking forward to reading more about the Ferro family.

Review - EndlessReadingBlog 4.5 - 5 Stars
So I think I've done things backwards, I haven't read the Arrangement series, which follows Sean out of the Ferro brothers. I read Damaged 1st, then I read Stripped as a ARC review! I'm clearly weird. So just because I needed to fill myself in with information I clearly missed I read the second book in this series, Damaged 2 :)***So this book picks up after the 1st one left. Sam and Dean have tracked Sydney down and want to take her home. Her mom is dying.Sydney clearly is an emotional wreck by now, with Dean literally dragging her back and her feelings for Dr Peter Granz.Oh and to top it all off she learns that in fact her relationship with that said Dr has been all lies. He's in fact the infamous Mr Peter Ferro!Throughout a very large part of this book Sidney is very insecure, unsure of herself and the situation she's in, which she was in book one and with good reason, but there are times I just wanted to throttle her and tell her to get over it.!Over the course of the trip home there are some, hilarious situations and they are able to use the time together to clear the air and become close again, like they were before all the truths came out.We meet both his and her family and find out more about why Peter is the way he is and that maybe Sidney didn't give her family enough of a chance. It was heartbreaking reading about Sydney and the last moments she spent with her mother, I feel like she somewhat got closure for all those years she thought her mother didn't believe her about Dean!Sean from the arrangement series appears in this book. Like I said above, I've clearly read in the wrong order, but fear not, I will soon be rectifying that as I've just purchased the 1st arrangement book! You see a little of the younger brother Jonathan, but I've read stripped as an ARC and you will be definitely seeing my review on that book.....WOW!I would love to see Sidney and Peter continue to grow as they overcome their fears and learn to love and trust each other while they heal from the pains of their past.

Good ending for Peter and Sidney
This was great too! I really enjoyed part 1, and this didn't disappoint. After Sid and Peter fought, after getting back together at the end of the last book, I really thought that was it. I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when he turned up at the service station, and when Millie took off I thought the journey was going to be interesting, and it was. So chuckled after we met Mr Turkey, loved that twist!Did not like Sean one bit (thats not to say I won't read The Arrangement! cos I will! ) Although he did redeem himself later on. Really liked Avery, thought she was really fun.I was shocked about Peters history, it really threw me, but the more you learnt about him, it sort of made sense.Really wanted to smack Dean myself, what an ass, he thoroughly deserved what he got! then there's Sam, twin telepathy clearly didn't work with him, believing his mate over his twin, he needed showing what was what!Really tough going home to find your mom so ill, that was a hard scene, but I was really pleased Sidney got closure and finally learnt that she did believe Sidney after all.So so pleased for Sidney and Peter made up, I was mad at Sean for sending her away! but really pleased when Peter came through, and finally when Sean did.Loved the proposal scene, comedy value to a heart touching moment. Then Sean's gift, lovely. Hope we get to see their relationship develop in the other Ferro brothers books.

Damaged 2
I loved this! What a great follow up from the first book. Damaged two, showed Sidney and Peter overcoming their fears and confronting their past. Sidney's character was brilliant, she was one tough female who took charge of her nightmare and Peter Ferro what can I say about him dayum! Sweet, sexy, and having perfect chemistry with Sidney! Serious hero worship took over lol! I loved the fact that Sean and Avery showed up in this and if you've not read the Arrangement series omg, you need to pick it up as you will love it! All stories regarding the Ferro brothers intertwine now and then with each other and you get to read the characters pov's. I adore H.M Ward books and they make my can't live without shelf lol.
