X2- Full HD KU Twin Universal LNB "0.1 DB" (Best Performance with High Gain & Low Noise)

Bought a couple of these they work well for Ku Band FTA they are well matched to a 0.6 F/D dish which is most of the 0.8-1.2 meter offset dishes. If used with a deep dish this feed will not properly illuminate and the performance will be poor.The Noise Figure rating is ridiculous as 0.1dB is 7K which is simply not possible with a feed operating at room temperature. I measured the noise temperature at 70K (based on moon noise) which is a 0.5dB noise figure.This is as good as any feed you will find for Ku band.Keep in mind that your system noise figure is the combination of dish side lobes and some receiver noise so typically the dish and receiver add 50K so achieving 120K system noise temperature at Ku band is quite good and a 10K (0.1dB) difference would make almost no difference to signal quality.

While I don't put much stock in any vendors who claim a 0.1dB noise floor for their LNBFs, I have found this to be a well-performing little LNBF. Build quality seems to be pretty good, it's lightweight, and the receiver performance for linear polarization signals seems as good as or better than that of my dual circular/linear LNBF from another vendor. At some point, the one thing that I might want to try to compare is cross-polarity isolation.X2 has built some fun, affordable FTA receivers as well, and this LNBF, for the money (under $15 USD at the time), seems like a good deal.

The LNB works great. It achieves the same signal strength as my old twin LNB that fell apart in the Florida Sun. I noticed moisture inside the clear cover after each rain so I know it did not seal well. Looked inside and was full of water I dried it out and clear caulked it to take care of the problem but I don't know how long it would have lasted without doing that. I took off two stars for an outdoor product not being waterproof.

This lnb is amazing. We have tried several different ones on our t90 and this is the only style that has been worth it. We have ended up buying 4 or 5 of this same one.

The box for this lnb was just big enough. The box was scuffed and dinged up. There was no plastic over the LNB itself. The lens cap on the lnb has fingerprints all over it as well as a scratch. Overall I get the distinct impression that this is not a new item but instead one someone returned for who knows what reason. I am not a happy customer!
