Love our new toaster had it for around three month now and having interchangable plates it's a massive bonus.. And when the Teflon get worn (no signs of happening yet!) will just order replacement plates vs a whole new toastie machine.Tefal really have out done them selves with this product.Only quibble is it came with a factory fitted American two prong plug.. Which after contacting amazon about got a £15 refund to purchase and adapter that works fantastic with it. So just be warned before buying.

Really great, and the fact that you can have new plates for it, creates more options.It also means that you can have the plates replaced if (or when) scratched.Note that the lid only locks in one position only. It's a "one size fits all", but works very well for me so far.The tiny cookbooks contains a few simple but good recipes for each set of plates to get started.Be sure not to use any kind of metal or hard plastic, and not to stack the plates. Given that it's non-stick, you can just wipe the plates in most cases, instead of washing.

Much smaller to what is seen in the images. Had to return as none of standard toastie slices would fit, which would introduce food waste.

I wouldn't risk buying this product in the UK. It's being sold with an EU plug. It's illegal for them to sell items with an EU plug in the UK and my only option from Amazon is to return the product for a refund.
