Know how you feel!
Brilliant read. Great for those of us with M.S. It's great to be able to read about her experiences and "get it" .Ideal for someone who may want to get an insight into an Mser's way of living and coping with life!

Highly recommend to anyone who has MS or knows and loves someone who does xx
Love this book, it's funny and inspirational and just very real. Reading this was one of the key things that helped me with my diagnosis, my choice of treatment and being able to get control of my life back. It also inspired me to blog about my own journey. I wanted to help pay forward the wonderful help and advice I had received from those brave enough to do this before me.Highly recommend to anyone who has MS or knows and loves someone who does xx

Having MS isn't always fun and games but I love how Barbara is so ...
Having MS isn't always fun and games but I love how Barbara is so articulate and funny about some of the really annoying symptoms - and how they affect everyday life - as well as treatments and side-effects. It should be on the reading list of everyone with multiple sclerosis - and also for their own 'teenagers' who need to know that there are other young 'carers' (Barbara's son would probably hate that description) coping with the unpredictabilty of MS and how it affects them too. A cracking book.

If you have MS read this book
I have MS, I recently discovered this book thanks to a facebook friend, it is honest and funny. I wish it had been available when I was first diagnosed. I now read the authors blog, same name as the book title. It is very comforting to know that I am not the only one who plays relapse roulette, and has been displaced in my workplace. Barbara and this book are a light in a very dark tunnel.I you have or know someone who has MS, this is a very informative read.

Interesting
I was really excited to read this book, the author put into words what its like to have M.S. I really did enjoy the begining of the book but so much of it just rambles on and is not really in the realms of most MSers e.g taking on a MA

to all m.sers. it makes sence.
A funny light hearted take on m.s. so nice to be able to laugh with a fellow sufferer. I could also sympathize when days are not so good.I would recommend this book to anyone who has been diagnosed with m.s. Also it would be a good insight for friends to read, perhaps it would open their eye as to what living with m.s. is like for us m.sers.

Eye opening to some I'm sure
As someone with MS I found it so comforting to read about someone dealing with the same thing. It's funny too! I also think this would be a great read for someone who has a loved one dealing with MS. Puts things in perspective reading from a MS warriors view on what it is really like.

This Book Made Me LOL (and I Rarely LOL)
"If Bridget Jones had MS, this would be her diary" reads a review on the back of this book. "We'll see about THAT!" I thought. An unabashed Bridget Jones fan, I had my doubts. I mean, could a book about someone with multiple sclerosis (MS) be charming, interesting, and funny? As it turns out, yes!! Barbara Stensland writes about the challenges of living with MS in the most delightful way. She doesn't shy away from the nasty parts of the disease, but she doesn't dwell on them either. She honestly and often hilariously describes what life is like as a single mom who has MS; one who had to trade in her high-heeled shoes for sensible flats (tripping can be a spectacularly embarrassing hazard when one has MS). Reading her book is like sitting down for a long lunch and having a fabulous talk with your best friend: she is warm and funny and relatable. I laughed out loud more times than I can count. Looking forward to more writing from Barbara! (See, I even feel as if I can call her "Barbara"!)

Sad for it to end
I don't have MS and don't have a child and have little in common with this author, and yet I loved it! She is a very talented writer, and I felt like she was a friend by the end of the book. I read a few vignettes each night before bed and was so sad when the book ended, because I had come to enjoy this routine so much! She is clever, funny, down-to-earth, kind, realistic, and inspiring. Thank you, Barbara, for a memorable, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable read.

Relatable
I loved reading this book! It was a relief to find someone who can find the positive and the humor in this treacherous disease. Thank you, Ms. Stensland for the respite from my new reality that is Multiple Sclerosis.

Relatable book about m.s.
I have m.s. , which is what the main character in this book has. I have many of the same issues and symptoms, so I could relate.
