A good series
This is a review for the entire series, not just this one book. The series was recommended to me on social media by a friend of a friend who said it was different from most male/male books as the focus was on the plot, characters and story-line rather than the sex. Thus, I decided to give the first book a go; I really enjoyed it and ended up buying, reading and enjoying the entire series. As the person recommending it to me said it is not all about the sex. In fact the sex does not make up a great part of the series; yes, there is a fair amount of sex and there are some detailed and long scenes. However, it doesn't seem forced and step-by-step, it feels very real and about two men in love, not just two men having sex. Also, for the most part the sex was a necessary part of the books and moved the story forward rather than just being there in order to titivate.I got caught up in the world of Zane & Ty and enjoyed the case aspect of the books as well as the personal aspects. It showed a different side to the FBI from what I had hitherto seen or read. All of the characters were real and far more than just cardboard cut-outs - even those who had very small, at times 'walk on', parts. The writers are clearly fanfic writers (which is not a criticism or a negative thing, quite the opposite) who have branched out into mainstream writing and have, for the most part, made an extremely good job of doing so. The fact that I did read the whole series is proof of that. It is a series I thoroughly enjoyed and read all the way through without breaking off to read any other books. So why have I only given it three stars? Well, because there were a few things which irked and even irritated me and spoilt to an extent my reading of the series.Firstly: Why, oh, why, oh why, with twenty-six letters from which to choose, did the writers decide to give both leading men surnames that began with the same letter? That's one of the huge no-nos in writing. It completely spoilt the first book for me, as every time the surname was used by anyone other than Zane or Ty, I had to pause and remember (even go back on occasions) who was being spoken to or about. That even happened a few times in later books. Given in one of the books the authors use a similar thing when they give another pair of lovers the same initials but reversed, I'm guessing they thought it was cute or something - it really wasn't; it was very annoying.Secondly: The chapter lengths in a lot of the books were far, far, far too long. Twenty, thirty, in some cases forty minutes for a chapter (and I'm a pretty fast reader) is a ridiculous length.Thirdly: The formatting in some books could have been better. There was a lack of proper hyper-links in some of the contents pages (i.e. you couldn't go to a particular chapter) & also the fact that a couple of the books only allowed you to see the reading time of the whole book rather than the length of individual chapters. These mistakes are unnecessary as it is so easy to create a contents page with links to chapters.Fourthly: The price. I bought the ebooks and thought, especially given the formatting in some books, them to be somewhat expensive for what they were. I would have expected them to have been priced at a least a pound less than they were.Would I recommend the series? Yes, insofar as it's a good, well-written, gripping series with very good characterisation and plots and a male/male romance where the sex is not the main theme of the books. On that score it's very recommendable. However, due to the above mentioned 'issues', at the price the books are I'm not certain I could wholeheartedly recommend the series - not without mentioning the cons as well as the pros. All that said, it is a series which I shall reread.

Superb!
I keep saying this, but you must read this series. I can't fully express how good this series is. Normally I get bored after the second book, but this is book 4 and I can't wait for the next book. In this book the two nutters are up against a team of bombers who don't seem to care who gets hurt by their actions, and j. The process Zane ends up seriously injured. These two are just the perfect duo, and they remind me of Patricia Logan's two, Wolfe and Evans in the Death and Destruction series, another one you should read. Well I'm off to read the next book

Epic series
This series was one of my first forays in this genre and I've been in love ever since. The writing is passionate especially in the later books, you can really tell the authors' put their hearts and souls in this series.

This series gets better and better.
Book 4. My title says it all. Picking up the next in the series is like visiting old friends. Its the "lurve thang" that really holds the series together for me. Usually I loathe the graphic sex in this genre, and there is a little of that going on, but somehow it progresses Ty and Zane relationship and characterisation.I'm amazed how these guys managed to be blown up, stabbed, shot and still come back for more.

Best so far
Re-read 21st April - 23rd April 2018I love this book.Whenever I picture Ty and Zane it’s always the aquarium dash that first comes to mind. Ty running and Zane on his Valkyrie.I loved it just as much this time around and while I can’t wait to start the excellent Armed and Dangerous I’m going to re-read Warrior’s Cross first. Catch-up with Julian and Cameron before they join Ty and Zane.Original review.Shame I can't give more than 5 stars this book is fantastic every time I read it I love it more and more. This is in my opinion by far the strongest book so far on many fronts I just felt like I was there with them watching them race towards the aquarium, watching Ty's latent OCD, waiting to see what T-shirt he'll be wearing next I can't say more without giving away the plot but it's fantastic

Baseball, Bombers and Bankrobbers
This is a great action thriller. If you have read the first three books, you've become invested in the main characters, Ty and Zane and continue to read the series to see how their relationship develops, both professionally and personally. In this book they hunt down bank robbers and bombers and again become the target. They have to fight back from some pretty traumatic personal injuries, while dodging death on the ball diamond and exploding vehicles. Another book to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I WANT MORE!!!
The series is getting better and better from book to book and this sequel is my favorite till now!I don't want to question a plot: 4 teenagers fooled the whole city together with FBI.But.I have already said in my previous reviews of the series and I won't be tired to repeat again and again: the suspense part of the series is of no significance. For me.BECAUSE:THEONLYREALLYSIGNIFICANTTHINGISTHEMOSTAMAZINGHOTAWESOMEFABULOUSRELATIONSHIPBETWEENZANEANDTY,THEMOSTADORABLEEMOTIONALINTENSEAFFECTIONATEHEARTWARMINGHILARIOUSROMANTICCOUPLEEVER.PERIOD.AND I WANT MORE!!!

Best book of the series so far
This series keeps getting better and better. I just love the struggle between Ty and Zane. So different characters who try hard to make it word. The dancing in the living room scene... I'm at a lack of words to describe it.

Angry people, tired feebs, crazy bombers and epic situations. That's what Ty and Zane will be facing this time. Add with all this a visit from silly friends, and you're in for a big time. Each book is better than the last. I really recommend this series if you love mysteries, hot guys and cute love stories

「I really need a friend tonight. You think you can handle that for me?」

Our favorite agents return in this exciting adventure
Urban and Roux continue to delight with their tales of Ty and Zane, two FBI agents trying to overcome not only the bad guys, but their own relationship fears. As with their three previous tales, the characters are very well developed, highly nuanced, three-dimensional, and likable. Combined with a swift plot, the reader is pulled along in this adventurous romance. When we last left them, Ty confessed his love for Zane in a moment of crisis. Now that they're settled back in Baltimore, Zane's trying to come to terms with Ty's confession. He likes to think that Ty knows his feelings for him, but he's not sure if that's true as he's not fully sure if he's fully in love. Ty is trying to remain comfortable with the fact that he knows Zane cares for him, but with Zane reciprocating the emotions, he's starting to wonder. As with the other tales, this unfolds to a backdrop of escalating violence in Baltimore. Someone has been detonating bombs throughout the city in a seeming effort to target police and law enforcement agents, the public is afraid, the media is going wild, and Ty and Zane inadvertently have become the media's law enforcement posterboys, drawing the bombers' attention to themselves.Like the previous tales, their relationship is furthered and the characters mature. There's nothing more frustrating than serial novels where the characters are stagnant, and it's a pleasure to watch them grow and develop. The writing is colorful and clear, the text is well-edited, the pace nearly perfectly, and the story long enough to feel fulfilled. There are surprises and suspense, and the entire story is a joy to read. Five stars to both Urban and Roux!!!

Absolutely amazing!!
I’m trying to be as general as possible in my review to avoid any spoilers, but I could absolutely not resist in writing how much I loved and appreciated this amazing reading experience!I just finished the book last night and I’m still under it’s spell! To me it was the best in the series so far, not only because of the writing (which is constantly really good in each book), but for the evolution of the characters which are now fully developed. And for them being in a very intense moment in their relationship – more open, more real, more sensitive and sensual, honestly it gives me shivers just thinking about it!!The plot of the bombing is adding to the value of the book, I felt it was extremely well described, many times I had the impression of being in a movie, extremely well-paced and visual, high tension for the reader knowing about the bombs ready to explode and frenetic with worry for Ty and Zane who are again in the middle of the mess! One other thing I liked is the fact Zane looks much more stable in this book, despite having to deal with a pretty serious injury. He finally came to recognize his feelings for Ty and is struggling to find the right moment to come forward and to my frustration there was always a good reason to not doing it yet!! As for Ty he was AMAZING!! The way he cared for Zane without losing his tough guy identity, pushing Zane when it was needed and treating him with the right balance between caring and giving space, doing mistakes because he is human and the touchy feeling is not his type. One of the most beautiful moments in the book is the one in which Ty dances with Zane! I read it over and over and it was soul deep experience!Ty is again showing his courage – not only he recognized in front of his Marine team that he is gay, he also tell them openly about his feelings for Zane and I was so damn proud of him! I still feel like it’s highly unlikely however that he had a friend that would have treated this confession the way Owen did… But it helped the plot and give more power to the reasons Ty is feeling and behaving like he does. I loved that he came forward totally honest to Zane in respect to Nick, his old best friend from the Marine, and to be sincere I felt Zane deserved to feel threaten, it did him good! Plus the reactions of both Zane and Ty to Nick's actions were in my view perfectly described and very human and authentic. For the rest, the sex is hotter than ever, the barter between the characters is hilarious (I’ve done tons of highlights) and I’m so hoping that the next one will be able to match the feelings “Divide & Concur” gave me!!

He Did WHAT?!?!?!!
A caveat to this novel: many moons ago, when I was a little kid reading by my nightlight under a blanket next to my bed, I would start every book by reading the final page first. I'm a Happily Ever After kind of girl and I had to know if it was worth my time to read the previous pages. If you are anything like that, DO NOT SKIP TO THE END. Just trust me on this. Now, I will highly recommend that you have Armed & Dangerous laying right beside you as you approach the last few pages of Divide & Conquer. Just trust a sister on this. It is the only thing that saved my Kindle from sailing through a window. ;-)That being said, I really do love Divide & Conquer. I love the reality of their lives that it show. It is, at its' essence, Ty & Zane living real life and realizing that the real life they have, while good, could be better. It is them shouldering through the ups and downs of figuring things out amid the real pressures of real life in a real relationship. It is them coming to terms with actually finding themselves wanting just what everyone else has, with all the crap that comes with it. Of course, it is Ty & Zane, so it is set against the backdrop of destruction and chaos. And that makes it perfect.

love these boys thoughts on divide and conquer
As I get further in with these boys I fall more in love with them. Ty the complex and loving puppy that on the outside looks nonchalant and fun yet is dangerous on the outside and Zane the over analytical always thinking man who would be the last to be the ying to Ty's yang.We are after Ty declares his love and Zane doesn't. Zane zane zane why are you over analyzing this. So Ty is loving and patient when things break out on the professional front. bombs and bank robberies. One minute a quiet time with Zane and next they are the poster boys after the bombers. And to book one is after Ty and Zane gets injured. In the time that Zane is injured and on leave, ty takes care of him. Lovingly helping him not wanting him to be left alone. As they navigate through this new aspect in their relationship. Zane trying to figure out his feelings and who he is and Ty waiting and loving him. Being Zane's rock. Ty wanting to find who is doing this but being told he is off the case and sent home. The two begin to get closer but as the tension happens and Ty is at work, Zane does something that makes Ty snap and he walks away leaving Zane reeling. Ty loves Zane but Zane pushed to far and didn't care or that is how it seemed. After sometime Zane realized his stupidity and came to Ty again. What they both needed. But a funeral occurs and a bomb is planted. These two are left enclosed in a tight space and Ty is trapped in more ways than one. First they had a issue with one of Ty's friends that put them in a tight spot and than this Ty is feeling the weight of things closing in and just when he needs someone to make him feel safe, Zane was there. He admitted his love and when they got out they found each other again and you think things will be smooth sailing except ty is feeling like everything is closing in and has to get air.A fun and exciting book of these two boys navigating their way in their relationship as Zane figured out his feelings, a bomber after them and Ty's patience and kindness. So much fun and yet some sadness to. A great read and I hope they get together again and have each other.
