As a woman of “a certain age” I have pretty good skin despite falling off the skincare wagon somewhere in my 30s. Although I rarely wear makeup and avoid the sun like a good little vampire it’s time to stop tempting fate and take care of what’s left!This is a nice medium weight moisturizer with a light/faint scent - not an ADDED scent, just the combined odor of the ingredients. I’m really “scent”sitive so that’s pretty high praise, lol.It’s hard to speak to the effectiveness because skincare takes time in general and is VERY personal/subjective. Plus, if you're already using the active ingredient(s), it’s hard to notice a difference in the way you look/feel. At the same time, if it’s new to you/your system, it usually takes a while for any real benefits to show up.In this case I haven’t noticed anything special but, if anything changes I’ll update my review accordingly. The NEEDLY pH Balancing Rich Cream is a solid addition to my skincare routine. It does an excellent job of balancing my skin’s pH while providing deep hydration. The formula feels rich and nourishing, without being too heavy, and has helped improve the texture and overall appearance of my skin. My skin feels softer and more resilient, and I've noticed a slight improvement in fine lines as well. A great product for maintaining healthy skin, especially if you're focused on protecting your skin barrier.

I am really surprised not to like this, but I really, really do not. The lotion is indeed lightweight and smooth feeling, but it leaves a slippery, greasy-ish film behind that makes me feel like I need to wipe it off. That dissipates after a few minutes, but it's really irritating right after application. It also has this kind of awful (to me) smell that's weirdly medicinal and sour and minty and plastic-y all at once. It's a comples, layered scent and I don't like any of the layers! I am in no way of fan of this.

This is very hydrating and moisturizing on the face. I didn't notice any scent and this did not irritate my skin or break me out. You don't need very much either, it goes a long way.

I hate lotion. And I rarely put anything on my face including soap or makeup. But I'm starting to develop wrinkles on my upper lip that are triggering a level of vanity I'm unused to. So I thought I'd try this cream.The good news is that I didn't feel a need to immediately wash this lotion off. It does have a fragrance but it's not enough to bother me or my lungs (extremely asthmatic & very sensitive to scents) and it dissipates very quickly.I started out by applying a small dab to my arm in case I had a reaction to any of the ingredients. When that seems safe, I moved on to putting a small amount on my face to make sure the scent wouldn't trigger my asthma. Now I'm finally at the stage of applying it to my face. It hasn't magically taken 20 years off but then I didn't expect it to. It's soon to tell whether I'll buy another tube when this one is gone but I do plan to use the whole thing (instead of binning it) so that's pretty high praise from me.
