Originals always best
Bought these after buying a cheaper version.Definitely better to buy dremel product as it's false economy buying cheaper ones as they don't last anytime.

Last longer than cheap alternatives
Good quality, compared to cheap alternatives which fall apart quickly. However, these brushes still shed wire, especially if pressure is used. Best for light duties.

Good Quality
Good quality steel brushes. The metal strands don't come flying out like cheaper brands and they have lasted well. Well worth the extra money.

Brilliant brushes, worth the money.
Very good.I bought a Dremel 8000 having used a competitor which failed after little use.I also.purchased several of the stainless and carbon steel wheels and brushes to remove paint from metal. This is tough paint! Using the tool at correct speeds they work very well with zero bits of wire coming off. Having finished removing the paint the two brushes look barely used.It took me 40 mins of solid non stop use to strip the paint and hardly any perceptible wear on either brush.Previously i used copies in the other tool, taking care not to go too fast rpm wise, doing very similar work would shed wires and wear out and no doubt have used two of each yo do the same job, in fact i did on an identical job plus clothes, bench, floor and .me covered in sharp bits of wire!Dremel wire brushes are great, hard wearing and non shredding being used on very tough paint on steel did the job and won't hessitate to buy again.Very impressed and worth the money.

So Expensive!
do the job but come on Dremel - either make them last longer or not so expensive - this is extortion. Also disappointed to see so much plastic packaging around a tiny, throwaway device - so 20th century. (a bit like the sales model)

Durability not good
Even tho I used a slow speed and very little pressure, small shards of wire flew off and stuck in my skin. Thankfully I was wearing eye protection. But I was wearing a T shirt ouch.
