After going through several items and reading reviews I settled on trying this one as so many reviews said it was easy to put on, similar items all have elastic around them and have to be stretched over the seat which I honestly don't have time for when I have a 2 yr old who isn't going to stand around and wait for me to fuss with a car seat. This is definitely easy to out on, the top has a pocket that goes over the top of the seat to make sure it stays on and then you just lay the rest over the seat.It has spared us from a lot of tears as everytime we come back out to the car it has kept the seat cool enough for my daughter to sit in right away without any problems. It covers the whole seat, it's not a super thick material and is easily folded up to be stored in the seat pocket or wherever. It's similar material to what the windshield covers are made out of so it seems durable enough and if it got dirty you could just wipe it down. It definitely does it's job and I recommend it to anyone else in areas that are incredibly hot.

I was really worried about this heat and my sons car seat, so when we purchased this I did notice know what to expect, first you can fold it to store it and it does not take much space, I usually do one of those ice packs holder for the car seat and then the shade and it has been working like a miracle, the seat is cold and comfortable for my baby and the ice packs are intact

Works exactly as described and it was super easy to slip over the bulky car seat. It fit perfectly, and it keep the buckles cool on a hot summer day. Also love how it folds up to a small bundle

I didn’t want a fitted one with elastics because who with kids has time to carefully put on a fitted cover when it’s so hot outside that you need a cover to begin with? Yep these are SUPER EASY to just throw on. Seems to work pretty well too as the baby’s seat stayed a decent/coolish temps. Honestly, I just crumple them up and shove into the door pocket. So easy, money well spent

Keeps the car seat from being scorching hot in this Florida weather. The quality is good and it’s thin. Easy to store in the car. Good price for what you’re getting.

Mixed feelings about this. Doesn’t block the heat as I expected. Definitely needs to be of thicker material. It helps a little bit to keep the seat belt of the car seat from being burning hot but still gets pretty hot even with the cover on. This is just too thin.

We live in Arizona so this is NEEDED. I can't speak to the folding because I don't bother with that. We are literally pulling it on/off at every stop. There are still days where it's sooo hot we still need to take additional measures to cool the seat, but this cover makes a significant difference.
