SOOO Much Better Than the Main Competitor
This product is a LOT easier to take than the main competition. It mixes well and doesn't turn all yucky and gelatinous and so doesn't make whatever you drink it in a total mess. In addition to that, this is from USA farms, which I trust not to use cattle possibly carrying mad-cow disease. The competition sources its cow bone stuff abroad. This is a win on ALL counts -- Made in the USA, safer than the competition, less expensive than that "name-brand", and not repulsive like the name brand to use.

So far so good,đ
I use gelatin everyday. For myself and my dogs and cats. I read studies that traced where the gelatin settled in animal populations. Most went to joints. Since Iâm just another version of an animal I thought what the heck. I was surprised that so many people arenât aware that most gelatin needs to âbloomâ prior to using it for consumption. My first batch I made with the same process I used for a different product. It set but it did not set evenly. The last batch I reduced the bloom water, and increased the hot water for after the bloom. I also added an extra scoop to the bloom water. I also used a wire whisk and let it set out a bit longer before adding the final water addition. It turned out perfectly. I then use an automatic stir product to break it into small chunks that I measure into the pet food and my morning coffee. âď¸. All is well. Before I break it up I cut small pieces and give one each to the dogs who scramble when they hear me crack the container open. The increased liquids in the gelatin helps keep their urinary tract busy. So the price is so much better and I can still continue to use it for my and my animals.

No bad smell when hydrating
I havenât used this for human consumption but wouldnât hesitate to. The Knox gelatin smells awful when using a 2 TB amount and adding water. This has no discernible smell. Use it to make birdseed cakes.
