I carry it in my purse. It folds up and fits in the little pouch that takes up little space or even carry in your back pocket. I take it out and use it as a (fan) when that hot flash comes on. I know it sounds crazy but it helps! I doesn’t cost much and I bought them as a little gift for my friends going through hot flashes. They love it!

I bought these on the recommendation of a friend to use them as fans, as I am always hot, and these little guys move the air beautifully! They weigh almost nothing and fold up so small I can keep one in my pocket, handbag, backpack, desk, night stand, or anywhere. The little pouch keeps them folded up tight, though I do wish they had a closure of some sort. Once you get the hang of folding them, pictorial directions included, you are good to go!

My wife used to carry the small classic style folding fans, but they don't last long in a crowded purse. She spotted these on Amazon and bought the set. Her friends loved them and she had some to share. Loves the way they open with a POP and then fold up to fit in the handy travel pouch.

Works great as a shield for glare in the car. Packs nice in the EDC for a fan on those hot days.

Got a similar item at a conference and used it as a fan for hot flashes. Since it folds in on itself, that makes it easy to tote around. My nephew saw it and wanted it as a frisbee, so I ordered these so he could have a frisbee and my sister could also get a "hot flash fan". A few arrived broken but luckily I really only needed at least two, so we ended up with enough for both of them to have backups just in case. Although I wasn't that worried about a few broken ones, if you are needing exactly the amount offered, consider buying a second set, just in case.

I bought these for a June trip to WDW. Honestly, of all the items I purchased for this trip, these were the best. Everyone in the family grabbed one and put it in their pocket. We would take them out when standing in long, hot lines and then when the line moved, quickly and easily back into our pockets. We saw so many people carrying bulky, battery operated fans but we are pretty sure we were more comfortable with ours. We would even turn them and fan hot children in line close to us. No one complained. We had fun snapping them open in unison. One night, we got back to our car to find a dead battery (turn off those emergency flashers indicating you paid for preferred parking). It took three hours before we were on the road. HUGE empty parking lot...where we were playing frisby with these fans. We loved our fans. They were with us for five park days and not one of us left one behind. Magic band? Check. Fan? Check. Best purchase of the trip and I'll never do Disney again without one.
