I waited over a month to write this review so I could give an honest, real-world opinion. After installing this, we’ve had some seriously cold temperatures, and I’ve been incredibly thankful for it this remote start. I can start my car from anywhere my key fob works, if it beeps, it starts. As long as you set your climate preferences before turning the car off, it will start with the defrost, seat heaters, etc. already on. The car shuts off automatically after 15 minutes, which is the same time limit as the factory remote start and more than enough to defrost the windows. When you open the door, the car shuts off as a safety feature so no one can drive off with a running vehicle. Installation took my husband about 20–30 minutes. He watched a video to help with removing the steering column. He’s very mechanically inclined, but even so, he said the process was straightforward, especially since there’s zero wire splicing involved. This is a very doable and affordable option for anyone who wants remote start. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again no hesitation.

Works very well. Fairly simple instal the video explains everything I was a little confused on the programming but if you follow the steps it’s actually very simple. The hardest part about this install is fitting my hand to plug in some of the wiring. I did it on my 2016 is350 I’m sure it’ll work for whatever model the description says. Runs for about 15 minutes enogh to heat up. Wish there was a setting that didn’t turn the car off when you open it but it’s alright. Better then nothing

Installed this kit on my 2017 IS 300, and it is well worth the money! It gets cold here in the winter and being able to remote start from inside the house is a nice QoL upgrade. Installation was pretty easy, only a bit of the under-dash and steering column needed to be dismantled. Harness is of good quality, and tees right into existing connections. Programming was simple, and being able to use the factory key fob is very nice! Only downside is opening the doors after the car has been remotely started will kill the engine, but this is for anti-theft purposes. A minor inconvenience, for an otherwise great product. Would certainly recommend for DIY'ers or those who don't need a more expensive solution and features.

Product works great and is super easy to install at a great price point as well. I know it is some sort of security feature but I really wish it would have a setting to leave the car running once I go to get in instead of shutting it off. I am weird and don’t like the extra wear of starting it up and turning it off more than what is needed.

I bought this for my 2016 IS200t. Installation was easy, no wire stripping, just plug and play. It took me approximately 30 minutes to install. Printed instructions provide basic instructions only, need to scan QR and review installation/programing videos. Three push of the "Lock" button on my key fob is all it takes to start my car now.

I never ever write a product review, but for this!? I absolutely need to. I was quoted $600-700 to install a remote control starting system in 2014 IS350 FSport and my boyfriend immediately stopped me from doing so. He did some investigation and found out that this kit was compatible with my vehicle. He was worried though that because my vehicle had navigation it would not work as he read some reviews saying vehicles that have navigation aren’t compatible. However it was a 50/50 risk we were willing to take. The install was quick. It was about a 10 minute process in total for installation and reassembly. I’m on day 5 since he’s installed the kit and it works perfectly. Just 3 clicks and she’s on and you can also turn it off with the three clicks! My favorite part of this kit is that it starts your vehicle with all the last settings you left on (so leave your heater on when you turn off the vehicle so when you need to start it up, the heaters on). However, I do want to note that it automatically shuts off after being on for more than 10 minutes. That may be a downside for some, especially in the winter.

Works , pretty easily installed . Lags a little, but it is starts remotely. I installed mine in a IS300 sedan

Very disappointed. This system works with your existing remote. It does not work through my metal garage. Will have to order one with longer range
