5 Days 8 hours a day constantly removing paint through out the whole house and only stopping for coffee, it didnt falter once, I would recommend this product, it works well. I havent had the electric bill yet, but it's going to be worth it.

The heat gun set arrived in a cardboard box and contains the main heat gun, gloves, safety glasses, x1 scraper, x4 gun nozzle tip accessories and an instruction manual. The heat gun measures 25cm x 18cm along the longest lengths and is ergonomic to use. The heat gun has a thick reinforced plastic shell with high temperature resistance but has a ceramic skeleton which is necessary due to the extreme heat. It also features insulated heating wire with a stable copper DC motor and includes an overload safety protector to make sure that the gun and circuit board don’t overheat. Overall, the heat gun has a very sturdy build and has the correct appropriate certification for peace of mind.The heat gun does use 1800W of power so is pretty power hungry but it does heat up quickly and features x2 fan speed settings (190-210 L/min and 250-500L/min) and 10 temperature settings. At the lowest air flow speed the temperature ranges between 50°C - 450°C and the higher setting ranges between 60°C - 600°C giving you a huge range of flexibility. However, despite the variable temperature settings there is no way to accurately set the temperature and personally I found the number dial quite stiff and therefore a bit tricky to adjust when the gun is on.The four nozzles included are a reflector nozzle (with the thin slot end) which is ideal for welded or precisely bending materials, a deflection nozzle hip (with a built-in scraper) which is ideal for removing paint or varnish from surfaces, a large sized concentrator nozzle and an ordinary size concentrator nozzle both good for accurately removing paint or shrink wrapping etc. I have been using the heat gun to strip varnish and paint off an old piece of furniture as I am taking it back to its wooden state and this has been ideal for this purpose but will be suitable for various other applications too.The company suggests that you don’t use the heat gun for more than 10 minutes continuously otherwise you run the risk of the heat gun either overheating or the metal attachment fusing to the end of the gun, making it impossible to detach after use, so I have been using for 5-minute burst and I haven’t had any issues so far. Once finished you can stand the heat gun on the rear cover which has a flat design but I wouldn’t consider this the most stable position and personally would have preferred a heat proof surface (I’m using a ceramic tile).The set includes a pair of size L gloves which are PU coated and are ideal for protecting your hands around the hot items and a pair of safety glasses which have a small amount of side protection, although bear in mind these don’t create a tight fit to your face. The included putty knife is also a useful implement for helping scrap away paint and varnish due to its flexible edge. Priced at £20.99 at the time of reviewing, I would consider this a budget friendly option with decent quality accessories which has worked well for my application.
