Lovely Scent, But Description Has An Identity Crisis
A pleasing aroma emanates from this bottle of JCLOUD lavender essential oil, a scent that’s both relaxing and delightful. It’s definitely lavender, yet the seller’s description makes it sound like the product is in the throes of an angsty identity crisis. Although it’s repeatedly labeled in the online product description as being 100% lavender, it goes on to say it’s a “blend of top notes of bergamot and citrus, middle tones of freesia and calendula, and base tones of vetiver.” So really, what is it? Is it pure lavender? Is it a blend of various oils? Who knows? Add this to the things that make you go “hmm.” I appreciate the protective, cylindrical packaging as well as the lovely script design – both of which give an air of elegance to this bottle of essential oil. That said, I’m less appreciative of the fact that both the bottle and package lack any labeling or specifics about the ingredients. Oh, and there’s one other thing you should know before deciding to order this *very* pricey essential oil. Sadly, the placement of the inventory label – a very tacky looking label that CANNOT be removed – essentially makes this essential oil essentially ungiftable.
