Very good value for the money
This unit casts a very bright, moderately focused semi-spot beam, estimated at about a 10-15º cone.Usable "throw" is at least 100 feet, probably more like 200-300 feet though I haven't yet tested it that far.I used it to work in the crawlspace under my house for a couple of hours. From anywhere under the house, ~50 feet across the crawlspace it lights up the far side very brightly.On the "low" setting (which is still very bright indeed,) after 90 minutes it had taken my 5.0AH M18 battery from 4 bars down to 3 bars. It does not get very warm during use. Swing-head mount adjusts easily and stays put in any orientation. Metal carry/hanger bar is sturdy but unobtrusive.The "dual switch" function is OK but nothing to write home about. Both switches are the same size and type, and mounted next to one another, so if tossed in a work bin or bag with the battery mounted, it would still be pretty easy for it to turn on accidentally. Remove the battery for storage / transport.Haven't tested water resistance and don't plan to. I'd bet it would do OK in a light mist, but actual rain or submersion, no, since the ports/connectors/switches are open and unsealed. Can't expect IP65+ rating at a $20 price point here.

Bright!
I tested how long it would last on low power last night. 1.75 hrs on low power on a 1.5 amphr battery. Very bright. Great value for the price.

Spot beam is not really a "Work" light
Puts out a good bright spot beam that has a good distance of throw. Would not be very useful as a work light at a short distance because the beam is so narrow. More useful at like 50ft+.
