Very beautiful

This veil is absolutely beautiful. It’s well made, not too heavy and not too light, and ohh so soft. The embroidery is gorgeous! The packaging is also great. Came in a delicate box that was shrink wrapped, and the veil was nicely packaged inside. It also included hair clips that can be sewn in, as well as a small dust bag to store it in. Very very happy with this purchase. Bought one for myself and one for my mother, so excited to give it to her! Will definitely purchase again.

It tugs a little bit on its self. Other than that no issues and it's beautiful

This arrives in a shrink wrapped gift box measuring approx 29cm x 22.5cm x 2cm. It would be easy to wrap or even suitable to just gift as it is - the front of the box has a feather pattern all over it & the back just has some laundry instructions - there is a barcode label on the plastic. Inside, the mantilla is folded in what feels more like butcher paper than the tissue paper I expected & there is a silver net drawstring bag to store the mantilla in if you don't want to use the box. The mantilla is beautiful & well finished. I had hoped the gold would not be so prominent on it, but it really does look more golden (a pale gold colour not a bright one) than champagne. For me, this colour feels a little more festive than I'd be likely to wear regularly to mass, but I'm considering keeping it for the more celebratory masses such as Easter & Christmas or similar. If you are blonde, it would blend in much more subtly with your hair colour than it shows against dark hair & probably be a nice colour for regular mass attendance. This would make a lovely gift for a more traditional Catholic, or perhaps as a First Confession/Holy Communion/Confirmation gift. Equally nice for an older child or adult being Baptised. If used instead of a veil for one of the Sacraments, it could be a gift a young Catholic girl could keep & get more use from as she moves towards adulthood. Something to be treasured.

This embroidered lace mantilla veil is beyond lovely. Everything about it is perfection. The product photos are accurate and yet can’t quite do it justice - the quality and the beauty shine through when you see it in real life. The gold-black is exactly what I wanted - it’s stunning but not in any way glitzy or gaudy or cheap looking. It’s modest, classy and beautiful. There’s a little hair grip to hold it into place if you need, and it also comes with a gauze bag to store it in, which is a real bonus. Note it’s hand wash and air dry only - which is what you’d expect with lace like this. It would need low temperature iron, but mine arrived with no creases at all, and it hasn’t gathered any creases with use. It is presented in an amazing box, wrapped in a very special way. It would make an incredible gift. But I’m not giving this one away! This is an easy 5 stars from me. Perfection.

I think the price is fair for this beautifully made, richly embroidered veil. I really like the fact it can be worn in so many ways, over the head, shoulders, or in various ways draped around the neck. So although primarily intended as a veil to be worn in church, it can also be worn in secular settings, for example to enhance an evening dress. It drapes beautifully and having the presentation box makes it just that little bit more special as a gift. My only reservation is that there are no instructions for the clips. I have never seen clips like these before, I gather they should be sewn in if required but I have no idea how that should work.

The Mantilla comes in a gift box with a gey feather graphic on it. Inside the mantilla is acrefully folded encased in tissue. Under the mantilla there is a dove grey organza bag for storing it in and a pack of two yniy hair combs for using to hold the mantilla in place on the head. there is also a card with washing instructions for the lace. The mantilla is chamoagne coloured with an intricate bold lace design. Very D&G. The Mantilla can be used as a headscarf or would make a lovely shawl/wrap/cover up to use in the warmer months to embellish an outfit. It could even be used to decorate a pelmet or mantel piece or used as a part of a Goth style outfit or used over the heada dn wrapped around the nech with a pait of sunglasses to look 1950's glamourous! Lovely item , great quality and surprisingly heavy.
