Honeywell TH1100DV1000/U Pro 1000 Vertical Non-Programmable Thermostat

Had to replace my ancient dial thermostat, and while it's somewhat of a culture shock, this has been easy to use and seems to work well. It's a basic upgrade without going crazy with all the bells and whistles that are available today. I plan to have the batteries replaced with each year's furnace service so that they will never be an issue. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This was an easy to install perfect replacement for the cheap one my travel trailer came with. Very accurate, easy to set and worked amazing. Smaller and compact which was perfect because the wall I had to mount it on was about 4” of space. Bright display to see at night or dim lighting. Went well with the trailer and looked clean and simple.

Honeywell is unsurpassed in the manufacture of thermostats and many other types of control devices. The Honeywell Home PRO 1000 Non-Programmable Thermostat is an outstanding product! It is for heat only. Honeywell makes other models which are designed for full HVAC control (heating, cooling, etc.) This home model is designed to be used for hardwired and/or battery backup operation. Important Note: Many older homes and apartments have only a two-wire electrical connection for thermostats. Many new thermostats cannot be installed for two-wire infrastructure. HOWEVER, this Honeywell thermostat can be installed on a th In ree-wire set-up (without using a battery, if that's what you choose), OR on a two-wire set-up if you include battery power. I advocate including a back-up battery. My new Honeywell thermostat came with a battery. ONLY A PROFESSIONAL should install this product. This thermostat comes with a 2-year professional warranty, void if installed by homeowner. I searched the entire Internet, and Amazon had the lowest price for this Honeywell product anywhere.

It is extremely simple to operate, has a nice clear display. One temperature setting, so there is no programming to worry about.

The unit was easy to install. Works well in my RV. The only issue I have found is the actual temperature reading is off by 2 degrees. This was verified by a digital temperature and Humidity sensor and a Sling Psychrometer. It functions well and controls the temperature. Due to the actual temperature reading 2 degrees above the actual temperature. You may have to adjust your setting accordingly.

We used this to replace the crappy stock thermostat in our trailer. It was a super easy replacement, fit in the narrow place and works perfectly. The brightness is great, readability is on point! The heater kicks on like it should at the desired temperature. I'm glad we replaced this, makes a huge difference! Happy warm wife! The picture shows the old one we switched out.

This thermostat replaces the 1950s round Honeywell. The old one was fine, until we got a new boiler.Kept fiddling with the anticipator, but couldn't get it right. The temperature swing was 10 degrees in some rooms. Now it's 5 degrees. The old one looked better in our 116 year old home, but the new one is much more accurate. We covered it with a small wooden box, and painted it the wall color. Now it blends in well.The price was right. Got it for FREE, with Visa points. We highly recommend this Honeywell thermostat.If you're looking for a 2 wire, heat only, non programable thermostat for a boiler, get this one.

We have a water boiler heating system with thermostats in each room. Unfortunately, the old thermostats looked to be from the 1970's i need it to be replaced.These were an inexpensive option, and I thought to give them a try, that was two years ago. After all this time, i've had not a single issue with any of them. They're very easy to install. They are accurate and the batteries last at least two years.The only negative thing that I can say about them is that the screws that tighten down on the thermostat wires could be better. A couple of them, we're a little difficult, two connect firmly.But other than that, as said, I have no other issues.For what these cost in my experience with them over the past 2 years, I'd easily recommend them to anyone. Looking for a budget digital thermostat that can be relied upon.
