Excellent Piece - finished the look!!
OK, so I like to tinker around in my workshop. I have an HHV FAST but I saw a DIY kit on Sportsman's Guide for MilSurp SEP2 unfinished helmets (see pictures).After I received it I cleaned up the edges, epoxied on helmet edging from Bell (sold here on Amazon too) then painted. I used Rhino spray paint, the stuff used on Bedliners for trucks. Also worked great!!Bought some Rails, NV shroud etc etc, once again see pics. But I already had a black helmet... so I purchased this for a new look, worked out PERFECT. Fit like a glove. The SEP2 while close to a MICH is slightly different. Didn't matter and it worked.So my project was more of a project, but this will work for almost any tactical helmet I would think.Seems well made, a few bad stitches here and there and a few loose threads, but it is no where near falling apart and i believe I will get a decent lifespan out of it.
