I’m impressed! The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I love that it includes Vitamin B5 and ceramides to support my skin barrier. No irritation, no fragrance, and it layers well under moisturizer and makeup. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality hyaluronic acid serum at a great price point!

I was skeptical at first and resisted buying this cheaper dupe of Cerave’s HyA serum, but with Cerave’s being so frequently out of stock, I finally caved and am so glad I did. It had a very similar consistency and is at least as effective as, possibly even more than, Cerave’s serum. I’m very happy with this product and will be purchasing it instead of Cerave’s moving forward. There IS a very slight fragrance, but I’m extremely scent sensitive and can barely detect it and it’s not at all noticeable once applied with other products - it’s also not an added artificial fragrance, but a mild neutral scent probably due to the ingredients.

I like Amazon Basics Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum. As others have said, it has a light lotion consistency. It has a faint natural ingredient aroma like aveeno at the time of dispensing but I don't smell it afterwards. Having unscented products is very important to me to prevent headaches and this is good. I've been applying this serum to my neck, followed by an application of Aveeno Eczema Therapy lotion once or twice a day. My neck looks a lot better, smoother and a bit less wrinkly for a 50+ year old person. It's a little sticky so I wouldn't wear a nice scarf or turtleneck with it. I'll definitely apply it as part of my overall makeup routine before any event where I want to look nice. I've tried this serum on my eye area and am not as happy with those results. Applied to crow's feet and inner corner. I didn't see a differerence and also there was no pain but my eyes were watering slightly and the only thing I can think of was the addition of the serum to my face. I'm going to stick with using this only on my neck.

I don't have complaints about the product itself, but the pump. The "straw" part that connects to the pump disengaged and now is somewhere in the bottle. I don't want to empty it out to get it out as that would introduce germs. So I'm stuck unscrewing the top each time and getting a little out onto clean palm each time. Inconvenient.

I admit, I was initially questioning purchasing Amazon Basics Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid. But, because CeraVe had raised the price I gave it. I’m amazed with this product. I can see amazing results, and it’s been only days since I began using it. I’m no spring chicken but my over 60 skin looks years younger. Results may be different for others. My skin says, “Ahhhh, hydration…” So glad I tried it. Great job, Amazon Basics!
