Suprisingly Good
You know the saying...."You get what you pay for", well sometimes you get a little more and this would be that. I have had the watch for a little over a week now and I am impressed with the swiss-like movement and the overall workability and functionality of the complications of this watch. So far this watch has kept time accurately with the only real snag being the month dial on the watch. The month dial is not automatic and is moved by the top side button which means every time you accidentally hit it the month hand moves. Other than that the 3 other dials have worked without issue. I would say this watch is worth the money and possibly a little more.

Surprisingly Good
For just under a Franklin, this watch comes up a great buy. I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked the watch--surprised by the clarity of the dial and its hands, and the ease of setting the subdials. My every-day watch is a JLC Master Calendar, to give you a idea of my taste in watches. This watch compares favorably (up to a point) with the JLC. It even has an exhibition (clear) back. The sole drawback I have noticed so far: it gains about a minute a day. (The JLC, of course, is dead accurate, even after years of sometimes rough wear.) If this watch holds up over the years, it will rate as a truly great buy.

Loses about 30 minutes every 2 hours
First I want to say the watch face and dial I found striking. The faux blued hands are beautiful and the leather band is supple, very comfortable to feel. When I first put on the watch I found the band slots oddly placed and while attempting to secure the watch on one hole, the pin holding the buckle gave way, coming off of the band. I simply reseated the buckle with a spring tool and it was good to go (as far as the band is concerned.) The top button sets the month, the bottom sets the day of the month and turning the crown sets the day of the week and the 24-hour subdials. After hand winding and setting the watch, I watched the second hand ticking away at a rhythm that would alarm a cardiologist!! The hand seemed to stagger about every 10 seconds. I placed it on a timegrapher and it seemed to gain about 10 seconds per day (dial up). It ran 0 loss per day dial down and about 13 seconds per day with the crown up and down.I satisfactorily strapped the watch on my wrist to wear and after about 2 hours I checked the time and was shocked it was about 30 minutes BEHIND!! I reset the watch and with in 20 minutes it was 5 minutes behind. My 1940's Bulova keeps MUCH better time.I know MANY watches at the price point that are VERY reliable and yes they're mechanical. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy!!BUYER BEWARE as I CANNOT and WILLNOT recommend this watch!!about two hours later I found the wat

Rugged and comfortable time piece.
Really enjoy this watch it keeps time and gives me the rest of the information at a glance. The automatic winding or manual is a real plus. Never any batteries to change. Hope you find this helpful.
