It appears to be well constructed. However it is advertised as freeze proof, but in the instructions it warns against leaving it where it might freeze.

This is easy to read. I put it in a pot so the stake went in easily.No rain yet.But will hopefully get some soon.

Good product

The last one of these I bought froze with 1/8 in of water and cracked. So I went back to good old Amazon and looked at all the rest and bought this one that said”freeze proof.” What to my surprise when I opened the package but to find the following card; “ When it freezes in winter, please try to keep the rain gauge empty because the tube may become stretched and broken.” So much for bad descriptions, lousy products and still another 10 bucks down the drain.

Arrived on time appears to be good quality.

It looks very well made and looks more expensive than I paid. The tube is large and the measuring marks are easy to see.
