Q: I ised a bkr bottle befote and the opening was just too small. is this opening eider than a standard disposable bottle of water?

The opening is 1.5 inches in diameter which we feel is the perfect size for drinking. It’s big enough to clean inside with a bottle brush yet not so big it spills on you when drinking. It’s definitely larger than the bkr opening.

Q: Do you put in the dish washer to wash with the silicone sleeve on or off?

We leave it on when it goes in the dishwasher most of the time, and then every 3rd or 4th wash we will remove the sleeve it to clean inside. We recommend hand washing caps and removing leather strap for that.

Q: Does the smell of the silicone cover dissipate? Mine just arrived and the cover has a very distinct rubber/plastic odor that I smell when drinking

We always recommend washing the product with soap and water prior to use. The silicone is food grade silicone and should not have an odor like that. Please direct message us and we will get you a replacement. Thanks.

Q: Is the bottle safe to put in freezer as an empty bottle?

Its pyrex type glass, it should be safe. I wouldn't pour boiling water in it or do anything that is a huge instant swing in temperature though.
