Natural Palm Stearin - 200g - Candlemaking/Natural Candle Wax Additive

Q: hi , could you tell me the name of the product that helps stopping a candle meting with sunlight plz & do you stock it .

This product, Stearin,when mixed with wax causes it to shrink slightly when cool to allow for easy "de-moulding" of the candle.We are not aware of any product which prevents melting in sunlight. Based in the UK, it's not something we come across very often!

Q: Would this product increase the scent throw of a candle? Even if a natural wax like rapeseed wax was used?

I'm not sure about the scent throw, but (along with hardening the finished candle) it does give better burn qualities, so it may well enhance the fragrance, but I believe it has more to do with the candle actually burning.

Natural Palm stearin

Not sure that it's necessary to use stearin in candle making. I made some candles without stearin and they were just as good.
