Very impressed when using with my Mac Mini
I have a Mac Mini M1, and the portable monitor worked straight away as soon as I connected it to a USB-C socket on my Mac. I adjusted its position in the Mac’s display settings, and it has been rock solid ever since. This is especially evident when waking the Mac from sleep - the portable monitor springs to life before my main monitor, and remembers its position and the windows that were open on it. Even if I unplug the USB-C cable, it simply carries on from where it left off when the cable is reattached. A pleasure to use in terms of usability. The picture quality is surprisingly good. In addition, the Mac automatically defaults the display to HiDPI 1280x800, meaning that the text is pretty sharp. You can change the resolution to other sizes, including the native 2560x1600, but I think the HiDPI default works very well. The text appears a bit big, but that works well for my eyesight!

Great monitor but fragile
Monitor is absolutely great. Its just so fragile because there is no second layer like in the laptops. So needs to be carried and stored in the bag so carefully.

Great second screen for on the road
Need the right usb slot to power screen. But makes a good second screen when working on laptop in hotel room os something

Fantastic travelling screen!
Worked perfectly with both my Dell and Mac laptops, great resolution, high contrast and easy to use.The folding stand-slash-cover isn't brilliant in that the magents can be tricky to align (and it always wants to slide off centre when used as a cover for some reason, but only by a few millimetres) but once it's up and working it's great.USB-C PD passthru didn't work for my Dell (which reported low power availability) so I couldn't use a single cable solution, but other than that, great!

Superb monitor
The pass through power was the main reason I bought this and it works well. Can plug in computer power bank to this and use the supplied cable to both charge your computer and carry the signal.Only downside I envisage is that the stand/cover seems a bit flimsy, concerned that it may not last.

More brightness than most
much brighter than the non branded alternatives, must consider this one! Works great for me because I use laptop screen and external monitor, and this one can keep up and match the brightness of my thinkpad. So working across the two monitors feels natural.

Cheap, light, good picture quality. What's not to like.
I'm honestly surprised by this. It is less expensive than many of the no-brand options. It's metal-cased, light, thin and has good image quality. The stand/case is light but does the job. It's honestly better than I was expecting. As others have observed, it could be improved, for example by putting a 3rd USB socket on one of the long edges for when you want to use it in portrait mode. However, for the price, it's remarkably good!

Love the screen - but there are drawbacks
Reading the description, you get the feel that this is mainly to be used for LG laptops. This isn’t the case, and can be used for other devices that support video out via USB-C or you get a bi-directional HDMI / Display Port to USB-C cable. If you go for the latter, you would need to power the screen via USB-C.If your device USB-C provides power and outputs video with the 1 cable, the screen is great, as you just plug this into a port on the desired side. The only negative that I have had, is that if you require the power, you need to use both USB-C ports on the screen. One is located on the left and one is located on the right.Firstly, this doesn’t visually look great, but secondly and more importantly, it prevents the ability to have the screen in portrait mode. As you will need to have one cable on the left of the screen, and one on the right, so therefore you lose both edges. Other similar screens have the ports all on one side. This means you can put the screen in portrait and have both cables coming out of the top. Again, this doesn’t look great, but it will do the job. Most of my usage is landscape, and the only time I do have the screen portrait, is when I only require 1 cable. The folio case that comes with it, is good, but very basic. I haven’t upgraded it, however, if you want more flexibility in angles or it to be better protected when on the move, you may want to consider a better stand / cover.Overall though, I have been happy with the display.
