A life saver for crushing medication for someone who is a choke risk.
Bought this as a means of crushing my mumsmedication without callousing my hands. If you have someone who struggles to swallow medication due to a narrowed oesophagus and you are having a hard time crushing every tablet one by one, twice a day, day in and day out then, I cannot recommend these hand held coffee grinders enough. My mum has been poorly for a while so she takes a number of tablets. What I do is put them in the top section where the coffee beans would go (larger tablets may need to be split in half first which is easy) and then give it a few turns of the handle. The tablets crush down to powder in to the receptacle below which you can then remove and pour out. If you find the grind is too fine or not fine enough you can take the top part off the base and below it there is a black rubber wheel you can turn to change the grind size.It has been a life saver for me as mum is a huge choke risk and the pestle and mortar was starting to cause a callous on the palm of my hand so I had to think outside the box. This was what I got and I couldn’t be without it now. I bought three in case I have any issues.

Very good-easy to use.
Bought this as I love coffee and am also making my own liqueur.I used the setting it came with but, that was a little fine so twiddled the knob anti clockwise around 6 times and got the coarseness I needed.Perfect, small, light and easy to use.Took me around 2 minutes to grind the 34 grams of beans I needed.DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE CERAMIC HEADS. You will just crunch them together.Looks and feels like it will last a good time.Perfect 10.

It's an £8 grinder.
This isn't a great grinder. as other people may have mentioned its a little tricky to get the right setting you want and i find the handle a bit small which causes me to hurt my hand on occasion whilst grinding. But it's super cheap and grinds well enough for a medium/coarse setting.you can't complain about quality all that much on the cheapest grinder available. if you wanted something better you have to spend the £££

Does the job while new, but doesn't seem to be reliable
It's fine, does the job pretty well. But the top metal notch seems to be wearing off pretty quickly, doesn't seem like it's going to last for a long time..Also, expect to spend at least 5 minutes grinding one cup of coffee if you set it to fine (it's probably a common thing for all hand grinders, not a problem of this particular one)

Good budget option
Takes a while to grind the beans but it works well with my cafetiere. The crank can rust if it gets wet and it's a bit awkward to clean and dry.

Nothing precise about this grinder
There is nothing precise about this grinder, it doesn't retain the grind setting—so you might start with a fine grind and end with chunks like chocolate chips. Ultimately you get what you pay for, and the item otherwise arrived as pictured.
