Nutritionally Complete Hedgehog Food | 8 Ounce (8 oz) Bag

I cant believe I paid $38 for this ridiculously small bag of food!

I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s supposed be be the best for a hedgehog, but she doesn’t like it. So I really don’t know if it’s good or not. She likes the cat food that she was raised on.

Love this food! My hedgehogs poop doesn’t stink when she eats this I will say the size of the bag is very small and does not last very long I would say 1-2 weeks.

We were originally buying a special blend of kibble from Coconut’s breeder, but after two years the breeder shut down. We worried about what food to transition him to. The breeder had first recommended Rachel Ray’s chicken & brown rice cat food, which Coconut loved, but it left him a bit constipated. Our vet then recommended a food with a better fiber ratio for hedgies (11-15% vs 4%), and it’s been a game changer. We now do a blend of the cat food and this kibble. Coconut loves both so much that he finishes his food every day, and his poops are much easier to pass. The tiny kibbles are also the perfect size for little hedgie teefs.

These are small bags 8oz. I did not realize that when I purchased. My hedgehog hasnt seemed to like the small pebbles as much as long ones. Ill come back and add if I notice she starts to eat it . So far shes not liking it. So for me the price is high.
