Greenies Feline Pill Pockets Catnip Flavor For Tablets & Capsules 45-Count

I was struggling to give my cat 5 tablets a day due to his heart failure. I tried everything as I wanted to avoid popping them down his throat as I didn't want to stress him and I'm not confident enough to do it on my own. My cat loves them and taking the tablets was no problem. Gone in 10 seconds. The texture is like putty so easy to mould around the tablets - some large and small ones and found that you only need a little bit as too much made him sick. They don't smell but think the smell could be stronger to entice him. However day 3, he decided he didn't like them anymore so having to sandwich them between a bit of a meat stick. Still fussy but we're getting there. Small steps. It's a new routine for my cat but time will tell. The pill pockets did arrive squashed though but easy to mould. I am trying other brands as a back up.

These Greenies pill pockets seemed like a good idea to give my cats their worming tablet as I always struggle to give them. I ordered the catnip flavour as they all go mad for catnip and I thought I’d finally found the easy peasy solution. Opening the packet, there was no smell whatsoever. I found the contents to be of broken bits, only two whole pockets but fortunately, they do squash back together. I was very disappointed as not one of my 17 cats would touch it. They all had a good sniff at it but reused. Perhaps they could still smell the enclosed tablet, who knows but I ended up throwing out the rest of the packet of crumbs to the foxes. A total waste of money as far as I’m concerned. I will never buy again. I ended up buying some Churu treats, far cheaper and giving the worming tablets that way.

Great but not for all cats, very picky with flavours.

These are amazing. I was very skeptical & thought that if they worked, they would only work once or twice, but in fact they have worked for a month or more. My (picky) cat loves the taste of them. They arent huge but you can mould them a bit to get slightly bigger pills in. I would highly recommend if you have to ever give pills, especially regularly. He sees them as a treat. They’re wonderful

One of the best inventions! Makes giving my cat his daily medicine so easy. Sometimes I roll them into crushed Dreamies for variety and to keep things exciting and extra yummy

Great product but unfortunately arrived completed squashed so instead of individual pockets, it was one flat mess.

My cats wouldn’t touch them. I get the concept and the product itself is probably good but I wasted my money as none of my cats would even lick it.

Unser Kater braucht jeden Tag 4 verschiedenen Medikamente. Er ist extrem wählerisch und merkt sofort wenn wir ihm etwas 'unterjubeln' wollen. Mit den Greenies funtioniert das spitze! Er mag den Geschmack und durch die Kneteähnliche Masse kann fast alles an Tabletten problemlos verabreicht werden. Ich warte bereits auf die zweite Bestellung. Versand dauert leider etwas länger. Bin sehr zufrieden damit 👍 Klare Kaufempfehlung

Every cat owner knows the absolute chaos of trying to give a cat a pill! When one of my cats is sick and requires medication, I am usually begging the vet to just give them a shot. When they say that there isn't a shot that will work in this case and I'm going to have to give my cat a pill at home, a sense of dread fills me. I usually have to change into something with long, thick sleeves to prevent getting scratched and prevent getting my shirt ripped or torn with nail holes. You know how it goes if you have a cat! One of our vets recommended these pill pockets and... OH WOW!!! TALK ABOUT A GAME CHANGER!!! Each treat has a little opening in the top to push the pill inside, and then you can squeeze the top closed over the pill. Pros: Super easy to use Resealable bag so the treats don't dry out Different flavors so my cats don't get tired of the same flavor I can add these to my monthly subscribe-and-save order so I never run out Cons: Not all of my cats will eat treats, but that's not a flaw of the product but just typical of a multi-cat household! Just like with people, we all have different tastes and preferences, and cats are no different. I had one cat who was super smart, and she would figure out that her pill was inside, so she would nibble the outside and eat down to the pill. She was a character like that! PRO TIP: Don't just give these to your cat just when they are sick but give them these treats occasionally here and there so your cat doesn't just associate the treats with being sick and getting medication. Also, just like with any other soft treat, they will dry out over time if not eaten so many months after opening, so this is another reason to give your cats the occasional treats even if they aren't sick. BOTTOM LINE: These are a life saver (and saves my arms from scratches and my shirts from claw holes). I always keep some on hand for whatever cat emergency pops up. I also keep different flavors on my subscribe-and-save so I can alternate flavors to give my cats some variety. LOVE THESE!!!
