Breguet BR.14 B2 - 96th Squadron

This is a very nice model of a World War I bomber flown by the American Expeditionary Force. It is a French designed aircraft and very accurate to how the real thing looked.

Having played the standard one seater scout dog fights, I was intrigued to try something else... and picked this one because I could get just the one at a good price. (It comes with maneuver deck, but no damage deck).The only reason it lacks the 5th star is because I think it is not the same scale as everything else.. it looks rather large.. But this has not effect on it's use at all.In play.. you would expect a huge lumbering plane like this would be easy meat.. but no. Obviously not to be used in a one:one dog fight.. set it a mission to photograph / bomb somewhere, and return. Then set your scouts on to it. They have to shoot it down before it crosses back into home territory.. All the Breguet has to do is survive.. and it's very good at it. With an 'A' damage deck rear gun, and a pretty tough resilience of.. I forget right now, but it's tougher than - say- a Fokker triplane by quite a long way.
