Easy to Install!
We have some Hunter Douglass Silhuette curtains, and after years of using the cord to raise and lower the window treatment, the old one wore out. So we ordered this new one and it was very easy to install and works very well.

Deceptive Advertising (revised)
In my original review, I was mistaken about the manufacturer’s cords being woven and not glued. After comparing the two, I’ve found them to be the same. I’ve changed my rating from 1 to 3 because of this. I can’t give them a higher score because their prices are higher than others selling this cord and the reason I paid more was because of their deceptive picture. By the way, I contacted Hunter Douglas customer support and they will send you replacement cords for free. They sent me five, one for each of my blinds, and they came in the packaging shown in this seller’s posting (including the tensioner, mounting plate, screws, and the consumer warning that should be attached to all cords of this nature being sold). Original review below:The picture shown on Amazon is that of an official Hunter Douglas replacement. Similarly it depicts the entire replacement kit that includes among other items the tensioner parts. The fine print reads cord only, which is ok, but it isn’t the one from the picture. Instead it is a cheap non-woven cord that will not last. It is glued, not woven as the original manufactured one is. It may work for you, but it won’t last long.

the loop was welded together properly. it was smooth and was hard to tell where the connection had been made. worked as expected

Does the job but not OEM
It’s always suspicious when something says it’s manufacturer when there zero branding and zero part numbers. That screams fake

a do it yourself project
The cord broke, what do I do now?? Take it to a blind repair???Ordered the cord and my husband replaced the broken one with the ordered one.Took a few minutes to figure out how things came apart, but got there and feelwe saved money doing it ourselves rather than taking in for repair. Yeah, a functional blind again.
