Temp control not quite accurate, but you get used to it. Flimsy handle that does not sit flush, do not like the way you have to raise the basket and hook it onto the edge of the cooking insert to hold it up. This makes some mess.

Only downfall to this fryer is the plug lead is very short it's the first fryer out of about 5 iv owned that won't reach the plug and able to use it under the extractor hood we have to plug in an extension lead which is annoying.

This is a good product chips are better and crispier.

Works ok for a cheap item

When ever I unplugged it. It would create a spark from the plug to the plug sockets this item is dangerous and fire hazard do not buy this product as it has a fault to it..

I have had this fryer a few years but only use it 2 or 3 times a year (which I assume is similar to most people)As I only use it rarely I nearly always use new oil and never fill it above the max line. I don't know how this happened but luckily I was next to it while it was cooking my chips I smelt burning. I popped open the lid and everything looked fine. I closed the lid but the smell got worse so I unplugged the fryer and when I opened the lid this time, all the internal parts were on fire e.g. the back of the knobs you turn. I was very lucky that even though the fire was fairly intense it did not get to the oil and I took the fryer to my garden while it was on fire holding it with oven gloves I managed to put the fire out by carefully applying small amounts of water to the bits that were on fire.This could have gone very badly and easily burned down my house. It's a lot of oil in one of these and if that caught fire I wouldn't of known what to do!Please be careful.I have owned a few fryers in the past, this seemed like an average fryer, apart from it setting alight it was OK.
