Polar alignment for the Star Adventure GTi is performed with the unit's built-in polar scope. Wifi is not needed for the polar alignment.

So does this come with a tripod?

There are two versions of this mount. One comes with the tripod (S20595) and one comes with the mount head only (S20590).

The Sky-Watcher GTI mount has a carrying capacity of 11 pounds.
