A good mix of ingredients and high vitamin D dosage
My starting point for comparison is always the Boots equivalent – in this case Boots A-Z multivitamins and minerals, one a day, currently £9.00 for 180 tablets. So Boots are 5p a daily dose. These are just over 18p a daily dose.Compared to the Boots standard A-Z tablets, these contain slightly more ingredients, for instance boron, flaxseed, inositol, green tea extract, cranberry extract, lycopene, lutein, zeaxanthin and black pepper extract at low doses. They are missing calcium (although higher levels of vitamin D should improve calcium absorption), magnesium (which is bulky and commonly taken in a separate supplement), and molybdenum. They have five times the level of Vitamin D at 25mcg, which is a definite plus. European guidelines are that an adequate daily intake of Vitamin D is 15 micrograms daily. The European Menopause and Andropause Society recommends postmenopausal women consume 15 µg (600 IU) until age 70, and 20 µg (800 IU) from age 71. I find it is increasingly common for middle-aged people like me, with indoor jobs, to get a blood test back saying they are deficient in Vitamin D. As we get older, our bodies get less effective at manufacturing Vitamin D from sunlight. They contain similar levels of vitamins A, K, iron, zinc, and selenium. They contain more of other nutrients: two and a half times times the level of Vitamin C at 250mg, two and a half times the level of Vitamin E, far higher doses of the B vitamins, especially B1 and B6, twice the level of copper, three times the level of iodine and higher levels of manganese and chromium.Mild iodine deficiency is common in pregnant women and young girls and is important during pregnancy. These tablets are described as vegetarian friendly - lack of iodine could be a concern if your diet is low in dairy and fish, and you do not use specially iodised salt. The capsules are a little smelly when you open the pack but capsule form with powdered contents should improve absorption.

Huge capsules
I've been taking A-Z vitamins and minerals every day for around 30 years and they seemed to have helped or I wouldn't still be taking them.So when I saw these I could see they were similar to what I'm used to except there's a few more additions.I usually have tablets and these are capsules. The tablets don't smell of anything but these capsules stink I have to be honest. I think it's best you don't smell them and just take them. It won't put me off though and I can cope with the smell. The main thing is they're suitable for vegetarians yay at last.I obviously can't tell you if they work as I can't prove it. Although, after taking supplements like these I'm not stopping now so it shows you they must be worth taking. I like the bottle too its perfect to sit on the cupboard shelf without taking up much room. The only issue I can find is the size of the capsule they're huge. Each one is brown coloured and is 2cm x 0.6mm. My advice is to get a the biggest mouthful of water that you can after putting the capsule on your tongue. Then swallow the whole mouthful in one go. The capsule should go down with it. If you can't swallow big capsules you're definitely going to struggle with these unfortunately. They seem ok to me though as I don't have a problem with big capsules and I'd tecommend them overall.

Huge but beneficial capsules!
These multi vitamin capsules come in a space saving box what is a big plus for me because I have quite few supplements that I take every day. There are 60 capsules in the box so they are reasonably priced for the multi vitamins. I have problems swallowing the capsules because they are too big for me but I simply add it to my orange juice and drink it every morning. I feel good since I started taking these and I am happy that they are suitable for vegetarians because my sister is vegetarian and she needed a recommendation of a good multi vitamins capsules and she bought these too. Highly recommended!

Extensive range of vitamins and minerals
These are excellent multivitamin tablets as they combine an extensive list of vitamins and minerals with robust dosage for each, providing a great all in one supplement. There are 60 capsules which aren't overly large and are easy to swallow. You should only take one per day so there is 2 months supply here. The plastic container is narrow rectangular design which really helps with postage as it is easily small enough to fit through a letterbox. There isn't too much wastage of packaging either - I really hate it when you open a container for the first time and find it half empty to begin with... such a waste. So I'm pleased they haven't used overly excessive amounts of plastic not commensurate with the size of the contents. Overall, would recommend.

These multivitamin and minerals capsules are suitable for vegetarians and offer all the essentials
As a vegetarian I take dietary supplements containing multivitamins and minerals regularly so I was interested to see how these Silvertown Health capsules compared with others I have taken. These Ultimate Multi VIT capsules contain just about every vitamin and mineral you need daily, plus some other nutrients – a full list is available under “Ingredients” on this Amazon product page along with % NRV – the essential vitamins and minerals included in these Ultimate Multi VIT capsules supply at least100% of your NRV – often much more. This formula is aimed at a wide section of the supplement market but as they contain Iron they may be harmful to young children. The recommended dose is one capsule per day so there are enough supplied for one person for two months and the capsule's format may help with absorption. Currently around eleven pounds from Amazon for a pack of 60 these UK-made capsules seem to be carefully produced (GMP), reasonable value and of good quality. They are suitable for vegetarians and get five stars at the current price – many are cheaper but these Silvertown Health capsule offer a bit more for your money.
