Comfy & effective on either hand
I had surgery on both hands for carpal tunnel several years back. However, I still get occasional pain in my hands and wrist, along with numbness. I frequently wear a brace to bed when it's bothering me.Crazy Al’s brace is useful as it can work on either hand. It is firmer than other braces I've tried, yet it feels pretty comfortable as it is padded. My hand is larger, yet it fits just fine.If I get to the point where I need to wear braces and both hands at night, I would not hesitate to buy another one of these.

Didn't think I would like it, but it's my new fave for sleep
I sleep with a wrist brace because if I don't the fingers on my right hand get numb and tingly. I think it's be cause I often sleep on my hand, but if I wear a brace that keeps my wrist straight, I don't experience the numbness. I have half a dozen different braces, and when this one arrived, I thought I wouldn't like it. There is a pad that sits in the palm of the hand making it considerably more bulky than other braces. But it's also more comfortable. The palm can sort of curl around the pad and rest in a more natural position. The trade-off is that the fingers have less mobility (not an issue for sleeping, though!). Although it says it's breathable, it is multiple layers of fabric and I would say it's probably the warmest of my braces. Even so, it's summer now and I don't find it uncomfortable at night and it doesn't make my hand or arm sweat. The brace arrived with no instructions and there are no tags that I can see so I'm not sure about the washability (thus, 4 stars). The metal plate is removable through a slot but I don't know about the pad. I don't see a way to remove it and I'm not sure what the contents are. It feels like little beads like in some stuffed animals.

Extremely Padded
I got this to aid my carpal tunnel on my wrist from doing lots of computer work and I do think wearing it actually helps in a sense that it prevents me from bending my wrist more than I need to when not in use. I was hoping it would help while I type, but the padding makes it quite difficult to do so. Comfort wise, this thing is heavily padded with like a sand like material that feels amazing and keeps my wrist straight. It slips on easily and holds with three velcro straps.

makes wrist stable, but very warm
This wrist brace does keep my wrist very stable and straight. This helps with my tendonitis pain. However, the pouch of cushioning beads in the palm area is a bit too big for my hand. If I don't position my hand very low in the brace, the cushioning beads tilt my wrist a touch too far, making it uncomfortable. This might be just due to my hand shape and situation though. I really like that I can use the same brace for both hands. I found the brace pretty warm though, my hand would get sweaty fairly quickly during use. It might be easier to use in colder weather (it is summer at the time I reviewed this).

Works on either hand: use with palm-side or outside hand bracing
This is a more substantial brace that the term "lightweight" would reflect.I like that it can be used on either hand or with the internal brace (which is covered in a sort of narrow, synthetic bean-bag filling pouch for cushioning) on either the palm side or back of the hand, depending on comfort and need. There are three roughly inch-long hook and look fasteners (one above the thumb and two below). The soft, slightly fuzzy fabric is what contacts skin, with a bit of neoprene-like flexible material that wraps over the softer cushion-y part. It's light in terms of weight, however it is substantial and while it is more breathable than heavier duty braces I've seen and used, I would call it more "semi-breathable" because it is a bit thick and 100% synthetic in nature.

The Best Wrist Brace I Have Used - Great Support and Comfort
I have worn wrist braces for working at the computer, exercising and even while sleeping for many years. This is by far the most comfortable and best wrist brace I have personally used. What makes it so comfortable and supportive to me is that the interior has a bean bag type filling that conforms to the wrist and give a nice feel of compression and filling all the voids to better conform to the wrist and hand. Other wrist supports I own don't have this feature and just rely on a metal insert that can be bend to conform to the shape of the hand- but those never fit right especially as you change positions of the wrist and hand. The addition of the interior bean bag type padding solves this issue and gives snug compression and support that constantly adjusts and conforms to the hand. Really pleased with this product due to the design.

Puts pressure on the wrist :(
The workmanship on this is nice, it’ll last awhile. It at least fits on medium and large hands too. However I wanted this as an art brace but you can’t pick things up when you’re wearing it because of the bean bag padding. My partner tried it as a gaming brace and it didn’t work for that for the same reason. It also puts a small amount of pressure on the wrist that would probably do more harm than good long term. I’m very sensitive and 8/10 braces I try do this to me, but my partner says this brace also puts pressure on her wrist, so it’s probably the brace this time.
