Quality acrylic sheets with protective paper covering
I got these in black to use with a laser cutter and they are great! I make small items such as keychains and larger pieces like trays. These 12" x 12" acrylic sheets arrived in great condition (although they were not padded in any way.)As others have mentioned, the stated thickness is slightly thinner than expected so I deducted one star from this review. If you really need something that is exactly 3mm thick, look elsewhere.

Nice!
These are 4 well cut and edge finished pieces of black plexi from Kinlink. They arrived intact, polished to a high gloss finish, and unscratched thanks to the protective paper and tight shrink wrap. One of the panels had a defect in the surface that looked like something plopped into the hot plastic while it was being formed. Does not affect my uses as I am drawing on these for a project. They accept paint pens as expected. The edges are sanded smooth (though again, this does not affect the project I am doing).

12x12 but a little thin. Looks good for lasering.
Update 2023 07 22:A couple of weeks ago I received two clear sheets of this acrylic. My review for them appears below. Now I have received four sheets of the black acrylic, but my review is going to the same place. So I'm attaching this review for the black pieces to my review for the clear pieces. In short, everything I said about the clear sheets also applies to these black sheets. The shortcoming is these sheets arrived with no corner protectors, and given the limited protection otherwise, some mishaps may occur. The measurements are a true 12" by 12" with the thickness closer to 2.8 mm (not 3.0mm which would be right about 1/8"). The sheets are clean and flat and totally opaque. I have lots of uses for them on my laser and I'm glad to have them.**********************************Original review for clear sheets:These sheets arrived wrapped in a thin cellophane sheet only. There was no other protection: no corner protectors or bubble wrap, as I've seen many others do. Despite this, they arrived in excellent condition. Your experience may vary. See first photo. The sheets measure exactly 12" x 12". However, their thickness is only about 0.11" (about 2.8 mm, not 3mm) , as you can see in my second photo. Peeling back the protective paper the sheets are revealed to be clear and uniform, and transparent as expected. That's all good.I use cast acrylic sheets like these on my Glowforge laser/etcher routinely and I look forward to these becoming part of someone's edge-lit trophy, or part of an edge-lit barometric map of the river I live on, or any of many other things I do with acrylic.

Almost perfect
These acrylic/plexiglass sheets are just what I needed for my aquarium project. Each sheet had protective stickers covering each side, very easy to peel off. I was able to cut them down to the sizes I needed without difficulty. Only negative I had was that they were all cut just alittle differently from the start. All were at least 12x12 but alittle over on some sides and not perfectly straight either.

A clear acrylic sheet. About 10% thinner than listed
The media could not be loaded. Today I'm reviewing this 4 pack of 8x12 inch 3mm thick Acrylic Sheets,As you see right now, I've removed one of the pieces of acrylic and I've gone ahead and peeled back one side of the backing. There is sticky backing on both sides of it. I've played with this a bit, and it looks like I may have scratched it already. The piece of plastic is rated at 3mm thick, but I'm measuring it at 2.65mm thick, so it's not hitting that 3mm thickness. The other dimensions are right on at 8x12 inches, but the thickness is not quite there. Setting to inches I'm see .1035 inches thick but should be 1/8 or .125.What I'm going to do is take a look here before we give a rating. This can scratch up as I'm using a metal tool to measure. The acrylic is very clear, so I have no issues with the transmissibility of this. I do have some concerns because it is not quite hitting the stated thickness. If that is a sticking point, you may want to look elsewhere. This is not a big deal for my usage, but I am going to knock of a star for the thinness of the sheet. I'm going to rate this four out of five stars.Pros- Very clear- Has protective film on both sidesCons- Thickness is about 10% too thin
