Whether you want to mend an (unwanted!) hole in a denim garment or decorate it with your own designs these patches are designed for the job.The five colours will let you get a fairly near match or contrast. I found they did stick well initially if you follow some guidelines. The clothing needs to be clean and dry. Things like fabric conditioners could inhibit adhesion. Do not use a steam iron. Make sure the dry iron is hot. I found applying the iron directly to the patch (ie not through another material) worked best. Apply heat for 20-30 seconds paying attention to the edges.After a couple of days the patch has started to come off which is a bit disappointing. I tried going over it again with the iron but it would not stay on. I am beginning to doubt if they would survive in the washing machine.I think they can be used from inside if required but I used them over the outside of a rip.Nice idea but not much use if they will not stay on.Update 1: A few days later. I have now tried one of the other patches and given it a bit more heat (left the iron on it for 30-40 seconds) and this one seems to be more inclined to stick. Maybe the first one did not have enough glue.Update 2: After a couple of washes the patch has stuck securely. Extra care on application has payed off.

This is quite a handy packet of patches there are five different coloured square denim patches in a pack there are no instructions but they are very simple to apply you can cut them to the required size or shape and you simply peel the paper backing off and place the sticky side on the garment and place the iron directly on the coloured material side for twenty seconds without steam and I used the front tip of the iron afterwards just to go over the patch and then left flat to completely cool and it seems to have stuck pretty well I used inside jeans to patch a frayed part up and due to the material not being too thick hopefully it will stay put sadly they didn’t stay put for long and started to peel off after wearing garment which is such a shame
