It does the job that it was intended to do, but i found it to be heavy and bulky, i would probably look for slimmer one

I like the easy to use function. I don’t know why people are complaining about how hot it gets, it’s an electric branding iron that should be common sense. One review stated keep away from kids like well duh there Captain obvious. My only complaint is that it didn’t fit my brand the screw bit was bigger than my brands threaded hole unfortunately. I will keep it and see if I can do something with it.

Overall it serves it purpose. However, this thing gets so hot it turns white. There is safety precaution associated with this and wearing gloves are a must unless you want serious burns. The other issue is the stand that it comes with cannot support the weight of the iron and would not recommend using it once its hot. Once I used it, I literally had to hold it for over an hour until it started to cool down. I even tried to use a little cold water here and there to make the process go faster. I would keep this away from kids and pets as this could turn a situation into something very serious.

The switch on the first unit broke after two uses. The switch is in the middle of the cord far away from the unit but it's internals melted somehow and the button just flopped back and forth. They sent me a replacement unit so I replaced the switch before I started using it and it works fine.The unit heats up and works great within a few minutes and stays hot. I use it on hardwood and it burns it easily.

I thought i was upgrading from my 250 watt one. Looks like I’ll be sending this one back.

Sadly it was smoking while heating up and after 15 mins of being plugged in as directed I turned it off and it emitted fire…I am returning it. I emailed the email address provided in the manual with no response.
